About the RoleAs Social Media/Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, creating, publishing, and managing engaging content across our social platforms. You&rsquo;ll be working in our marketing team to develop and execute strategies that reflect our brand&rsquo;s values and spark conversation in the sewing and quilting community. You&rsquo;ll also contribute to our video production process&mdash;from filming and editing to optimizing content for various channels.This is a hands-on role where your creativity, communication skills, and understanding of social media trends will play a vital role in our digital growth.This is an in-person position (NO REMOTE WORK).Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and execute a social media content calendar aligned with overall marketing goals</li><li>Create original content (photo, video, reels, stories, carousels, etc.) for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube</li><li>Monitor engagement metrics and provide performance reports with actionable insights</li><li>Respond to comments and messages in a timely, professional, and friendly manner</li><li>Assist in on-site video shoots and photo sessions, including setup, filming, and direction</li><li>Edit video and photo content for different platforms using software such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, Davinci Resolve, and Canva</li><li>Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure cohesive branding and campaign alignment</li><li>Suggest and test new content formats, trends, and ideas that resonate with our audience</li><li>Manage and grow our presence within relevant online communities</li><li>Help maintain an organized asset library of past and current creative content</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>1+ year of professional experience managing or coordinating social media accounts (brand or personal creator account)</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Experience with social media tools such as Meta Business Suite, Canva, Later, Buffer, or Hootsuite</li><li>Basic video and photo editing skills (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, CapCut, etc.)</li><li>Creative mindset with strong attention to detail</li><li>Ability to work independently and within a team environment</li><li>Highly organized, dependable, and comfortable meeting deadlines</li><li>Familiarity with the sewing or craft industry is a plus, but not required</li></ul>Perks &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Weekly direct deposit (no paycheck holds).</li><li>401K with company match.</li><li>Paid holidays off.</li><li>Health, vision, and dental benefits after 90 days.</li><li>PTO after 90 days.</li><li>Paid breaks (12-minute morning and afternoon breaks)</li><li>Unpaid 30&ndash;45 minute lunch break.</li><li>Complimentary beverages, standing desks, and ergonomic chairs.</li><li>Employee discount on all products.</li><li>Paid maternity leave after 12 months.</li><li>Birthday presents and yearly anniversary bonuses.</li><li>Opportunities for professional development and career growth within the company.</li></ul>About usSewing Parts Online is a 17-year-old e-commerce company based in Dickson, TN, proudly serving consumers, small businesses, and schools across the U.S. with sewing machines, parts, accessories, and supplies.
