Job Summary We are seeking reliable candidates to join our quality of life dental practice in a temp to hire or part-time capacity supporting our front office and/or clinical team. These roles offer an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional patient care while supporting various administrative and/or clinical functions. Ideal candidates will be energetic, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a positive patient experience and team environment. You will be responsible for handling front desk operations, assisting with chairside duties and ensuring smooth daily workflows.Responsibilities <ul><li>Greet patients warmly, check-in and check-out efficiently and manage appointment scheduling using Dentrix, etc.</li><li>Assist with clinical duties including taking x-rays, intra-orals, preparing patients for procedures and supporting chairside.</li><li>Maintain accurate medical records, document procedures using dental terminology, and assist with medical coding for billing purposes.</li><li>Manage administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, updating patient records and entering insurance carriers.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Previous experience working in a dental environment is highly preferred, especially in roles involving dental assisting.</li><li>Familiarity with Dentrix is preferred for efficient documentation and scheduling.</li><li>Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols is required to ensure patient confidentiality and safety.</li><li>Experience with general dentistry practices is advantageous.</li><li>Strong understanding of dental terminology, and imaging techniques enhances your ability to support clinical operations effectively.</li><li>Proven ability to perform chairside assisting tasks such as operating X-ray equipment, and supporting various dental procedures.</li><li>Ability to adapt quickly while maintaining professionalism and excellent patient service skills.</li></ul>Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Dental assisting: 5 years (Required)</li><li>Dental office: 5 years (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
