About the Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Tech Recruiter who is best in class with a high IQ plus a high EQ. Based in Turkey, you will support the recruiting function for the region personally driving full-cycle search for technical roles. Turkey is a strategic growth hub for Sezzle, and this role is foundational to that vision. You will be a player-coach: a strategic partner to hiring managers across the business who also rolls up their sleeves to recruit for the hardest positions themselves.

What You'll Do
<ul>
<li>Own the full-cycle recruiting process for technical and non-technical roles &mdash; from intake and sourcing through offer and close &mdash; applying Sezzle's MEI (Merit, Excellence, Intelligence) philosophy to every hire.</li>
<li>Design and continuously improve talent acquisition processes, frameworks, and tooling &mdash; drive efficiency and quality of hire, not just speed to fill.</li>
<li>Partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand workforce needs, build proactive talent pipelines, and act as a trusted advisor &mdash; not just an order-taker.</li>
<li>Ensure a consistently excellent, human-centered candidate experience throughout the hiring journey &mdash; how we treat candidates reflects how we treat customers.</li>
<li>Stay current on market trends, compensation benchmarks, and talent availability across Turkey's technology and fintech ecosystem.</li>
</ul>
Working Hours:

This role operates on a fixed schedule of 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM GMT+3. While the role supports teams in T&uuml;rkiye, candidates must be available to consistently work during these hours.

What We Look For
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.</li>
<li>2+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with meaningful time leading or developing recruiting teams in a fast-paced tech or fintech environment.</li>
<li>Proven track record recruiting for highly technical roles in IT (software engineers, data, infrastructure, product, and beyond).</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to build or meaningfully improve a recruiting function &mdash; not just operate within one. We want a builder, not a maintainer.</li>
<li>Strong command of modern sourcing techniques, ATS platforms, and recruiting analytics; you use data to make decisions, not just to report them.</li>
<li>Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal) with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills &mdash; you can hold the line on quality with a frustrated hiring manager without damaging the relationship.</li>
<li>Fluency in Turkish; solid working knowledge of Turkish labor law and local hiring practices.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools is required; candidates must be comfortable leveraging AI to enhance productivity, research, and communication.</li>

<li>Experience working for a US-headquartered or globally distributed company &mdash; you know how to bridge HQ culture with local market realities.</li>
<li>Exposure to high-growth or startup environments where ambiguity is the default and speed is a competitive advantage.</li>
<li>Familiarity with structured candidate assessment &mdash; behavioral frameworks, competency-based interviewing, or psychometric tools.</li>
<li>Experience using data and dashboards to influence hiring decisions, resource planning, and senior leadership conversations.</li>

Compensation:

For this senior development role, with 3+ years of experience, the compensation range is $3,000 - $6,000 per month USD per month. This range acknowledges the extensive expertise, leadership capabilities, and significant contributions expected at this level, offering a competitive salary to reflect the value of advanced skills and experience. 
 
Working Hours:

This role operates on a fixed schedule of 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM EST. While the position is based in India, the team operates primarily in the United States, supporting Sezzle's operations across the U.S. and Canada. Candidates must be available to consistently work during these EST hours.

We are seeking a talented and motivated best-in-class Senior Site Reliability Engineer. This role presents an exciting opportunity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within a rapidly growing team, with abundant prospects for career advancement. 
 
As a Senior SRE with Sezzle, you will have a high degree of autonomy and authority to identify and resolve problems you see in our infrastructure, deployments, operational workload, and overall systems.

You should consider yourself a DOer to be a good fit for this role. We expect you to bring a deep well of experience to play, and with AI tooling, you should be a force for scaling in the organization.

What you'll do:
<ul><li>Architect, upgrade, design, and build scalable infrastructure solutions leveraging Kubernetes, AWS, RDS (MySQL/Postgres), and modern distributed patterns.</li>
<li>Help drive the infrastructure team's roadmap, leading us to higher levels of reliability, recoverability, and scalability.</li>
<li>Drive capacity planning, benchmarking, and work with the team to stress test our systems, find bottlenecks, and prepare for further growth in the business.</li>
<li>Define, maintain and enforce SLAs and alerts across our infrastructure.</li>
<li>Lead the teams towards stronger signal anomaly detection, better, more flexible alerting.</li>
<li>Help Lead Sezzle's AI enablement efforts, identifying opportunities to apply AI and automation to enhance infrastructure reliability, developer productivity, and internal tooling.</li>
<li>Build in consistency and scalability across a distributed microservices architecture while maintaining performance and reliability.</li>
<li>Establish and evolve engineering best practices for observability, security, and CI/CD across teams.</li>
<li>Mentor engineers and champion a culture of learning, innovation, and operational excellence.</li>
<li>Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business goals into technical roadmaps and deliver results that matter.</li>
</ul>
What we look for:
<ul>
<li>3+ years of professional software engineering or infrastructure engineering experience, including significant SRE and backend experience.</li>
<li>Deployed significant changes to a production application or infrastructure configuration in the past 30 days.</li>
<li>Strong proficiency in Golang, with experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs.</li>
<li>Expertise with SQL-based RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and experience optimizing schema and queries for performance at scale.</li>
<li>Proficiency in observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic).</li>
<li>Solid understanding of distributed systems design patterns (e.g., transactional outbox, event-driven architecture and stream processing, queues).</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to bring new ideas forward, influence decisions, and lead complex technical initiatives.</li>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.</li>
</ul>
Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
<ul>
<li>Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, mainly AWS Aurora RDS, both MySQL and Postgres.</li>
<li>Experience with data engineering, data pipelines and data warehousing.</li>
<li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deploying containerized microservices in Kubernetes.</li>
<li>Familiarity with AI developer tooling like Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex, Cursor and using it to be a more productive engineer.</li>
<li>Track record of shipping commercial APIs and data-driven applications in high-growth environments.</li>
<li>Proven leadership in guiding technical direction, improving system reliability, and scaling high-traffic services.</li>
