Job OverviewWe are seeking a motivated Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will manage a full caseload of personal injury cases from intake through settlement and manage a pre-litigation team.As a Pre-Litigation Attorney you will ensure that our clients get the best outcome by working to avoid time-consuming litigation.Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage caseload of personal injury matters from intake through potential settlement with the support of case managers, assistants, and specialized departments</li><li>Supervise a team of pre-litigation staff, including case managers, assistants, demand writers, and settlement and lien negotiators</li><li>Monitor team&rsquo;s work product and files for quality assurance purposes on a daily basis</li><li>Drive case progression, ensure that deadlines are met, and adhere to firm financial goals and ethical and legal standards</li><li>Draft and review demand letters, settlement proposals, and other legal documents</li><li>Conduct case reviews for strengths and weaknesses and case strategy</li><li>Conduct legal research and analysis as needed</li><li>Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding case status and treatment</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school</li><li>Admission to the California State Bar and in good standing</li><li>1-5 year(s) of experience in a similar role at a Personal Injury Firm</li><li>Demonstrated experience leading a team in a supervisory capacity</li><li>Strong negotiation skills</li><li>Excellent legal drafting skills</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate with clients and other parties involved in personal injury cases</li><li>Ability to manage an independent caseload and produce high value settlement</li><li>Bilingual preferred</li></ul>Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
