Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your expertise will support our organization&rsquo;s financial health by performing essential bookkeeping functions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports. This position offers an excellent opportunity to apply your accounting skills in a collaborative environment while contributing to the smooth operation of our financial processes.Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage daily bookkeeping tasks including data entry, journal entries, and account reconciliations using QuickBooks</li><li>Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data</li><li>Process accounts payable transactions efficiently and accurately</li><li>Assist with payroll processing and related tax compliance activities</li><li>Maintain general ledger accounts in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and governmental accounting standards when applicable</li><li>Prepare detailed financial reports, including budgets, financial statements, and account analysis documents</li><li>Support month-end and year-end closing procedures by verifying all entries are complete and accurate</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience with bookkeeping and general ledger accounting</li><li>Strong proficiency in Quick Books accounting software</li><li>Knowledge of GAAP standards, governmental accounting practices, and tax regulations</li><li>Familiarity with bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, journal entries, and financial report writing</li><li>Excellent understanding of debits &amp; credits, account analysis, and financial concepts</li><li>Experience with budgeting processes and technical accounting tasks preferred</li><li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail</li></ul>Join us in a role that will enable this fast-paced company to grow and expand.
