Description:</b></div>
Shakopee Public Schools is looking for a 1.0 FTE Long Term Substitute (LTS) Band Teacher to join the team at West Middle School from approximately January 29, 2026 through April 30, 2026.<br>
<br>
<b>Job Summary:</b><br>
Provides instruction in content area in accordance with each student's ability and creates a classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth. Establishes effective working relationships with students and parents, works collaboratively with other staff members.<br>
<br>
<b>Qualifications:</b>
<ul><li>Valid MN teaching license in Music, Instrumental and Classroom Music or Band</li>
<li>Experience with instrumental music</li>
<li>Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction</li>
<li>Strong classroom management skills</li>
<li>Effective communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to build successful relationships with students, parents and staff</li>

Salary ranges from $51,000 to $120,813 depending upon education level and experience.<br>
