<b>Program Introduction:</b><br>
Our Middle Level Summer Learning Adventure Program is designed for our rising 6th - 8th grade students to provide an extra boost for success moving into the upcoming school year. Each week of the 5-week program will be an active and engaging experience centered around one Shakopee Academy. Speakers, challenges, and contests will all be part of this academy-themed experience! In addition, students will receive math, literacy, and social emotional learning support to become a more confident and organized learner!<br>

<b>Position Description:</b><br>
Summer Targeted Services Multilingual Learner Teacher.<br>
Position: Teaching ML Newcomer Students (Levels 1-2) in ELD Newcomer classroom at East Middle School.<br>
Program Dates: Monday &ndash; Thursday July 6th - August 6th<br>
Student Hours: 8:35 AM - 2:05 PM<br>
<br>
<b>Qualifications:</b><br>
Valid MN teaching license for ESL.<br>
Knowledge and willingness to co-teach with reading and language arts teacher preferred.<br>
Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction.<br>
Strong classroom management skills.<br>
Ability to build successful relationships with students, parents and staff.<br>
