Our clients&rsquo; treatment plans are carried out by the RBT on a daily basis, and consistency within the treatment plans is critical, as well as time management. The Registered Behavior Technician is responsible for upholding the highest quality of care. A desire to work with children is essential. The ideal candidate would be patient and open-minded, with a hard-working personality.Responsibilities<ul><li>Focus is running programs exactly as written on treatment plan to ensure that everyone is running programs with fidelity, to ultimately get the best long term, sustainable results.</li><li>Gather behavioral data to track progress in reaching behavioral objectives identified in the behavior plan and periodically modify the plan, under the supervision of the BCBA, to adapt to the child's response to the intervention.</li><li>Implement learning programs (communication, self-help, and play skills) as written and instructed by the BCBA</li><li>Collect data on all behaviors targeted and meet with supervisor weekly to analyze the information gathered and participate in initial and ongoing trainings.</li><li>Incorporate parent training so family members/caregivers can teach and support skills during typical family activities.</li><li>Document each service activity on a service summary form.</li><li>Complete mandatory training and refresher training.</li><li>Properly report all critical incidents and safety concerns regarding persons receiving services.</li><li>Ensure that documentation is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with established organizational procedures.</li><li>Participate in staff meetings as directed by the Company or supervisor.</li><li>Model and promote good communication, customer service, and positive representation of the organization to clients, customers, referral sources and the public.</li><li>Other responsibilities as requested by the President and/or Director of ABA Services.</li></ul>Position Requirements<ul><li>Good verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Good interpersonal relationship skills</li><li>Desire for continued learning opportunities, and willingness to embrace instruction</li><li>Ability to work with multi-disciplinary team members, and a desire to work with young children</li><li>Reliable attendance record</li><li>Must complete competency training and evaluation requirements within time frame set forth by BACB (refer to your supervisor for more information)</li><li>Must have passed the RBT exam.</li><li>Must complete competency exam, as given by BCBA</li><li>Must keep RBT certification active and in good standing.</li><li>BA or BS in psychology, social work, special education or related field preferred. High school diploma or GED required.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with clean driving record, valid full-coverage auto insurance, reliable transportation, and a cleared background check required.</li><li>Prior in-home services experience preferred, but not required.</li></ul>Certification &amp; Recertification Shaping Dreams does cover the costs of all initial certification (40 hour course, application fees, and state exam fees) for those who feel that this position is ideal for them, we also cover the costs of recertification every year, as the RBT credential does expire every 12 months.Job Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Opportunities for advancement</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
