Job DescriptionThe Soft Skills Trainer will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging, outcome-driven soft skills training programs. The ideal candidate should have a strong track record of facilitating communication, personality development, and employability skills sessions for diverse learner groups. The role also requires the ability to support verbal ability training whenever needed.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Facilitate interactive Soft Skills training sessions covering communication skills, teamwork, emotional intelligence, leadership, personal branding, workplace etiquette, and interview readiness.</li><li>Assess learners&rsquo; performance through quizzes, continuous assessments, feedback sessions, and end-term evaluations, offering personalised improvement plans.</li><li>Develop training content such as handouts, manuals, activity sheets, workbooks, question banks, and practice tests for soft skills and verbal ability programs.</li><li>Operate LMS and online testing platforms efficiently, ensuring seamless enrollment, content upload, and monitoring of learner progress across departments.</li><li>Mentor and guide students in career planning, resume writing, and interview preparation, aligned with industry expectations and institutional standards.</li><li>Contribute to departmental initiatives, audit documentation, student mentoring programs, and institutional events.</li><li>Support the talent development ecosystem by helping build an in-house pool of trained students for various academic and career initiatives.</li><li>Deliver on-demand workshops on employability skills, communication strategies, and professional development.</li></ul>Topics to be CoveredThe trainer will deliver sessions across a wide range of soft skills as well as foundational verbal ability topics, including but not limited to:<ul><li>Communication Skills (oral &amp; written)</li><li>Grammar essentials, sentence construction, and vocabulary building</li><li>Critical thinking &amp; reasoning</li><li>Presentation skills, public speaking, and storytelling</li><li>Professional etiquette &amp; corporate communication</li><li>Resume writing &amp; interview skills</li><li>Emotional intelligence, cultural competence &amp; adaptability</li><li>Time management &amp; productivity techniques</li><li>Digital-age communication skills and responsible use of AI tools</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Postgraduate in English, Communication, Psychology, Management, or related fields.</li><li>Strong facilitation skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners.</li><li>Ability to design, deliver, and evaluate soft skills and verbal ability training programs as required.</li><li>Familiarity with digital tools such as MS Office, Google Workspace, and generative AI platforms.</li></ul>Candidates from reputable training and education organisations are preferred.Key Skills Required<ul><li>Soft skills training &amp; facilitation</li><li>Communication (oral &amp; written)</li><li>Content creation for training</li><li>Career guidance and interview preparation</li><li>Mentoring &amp; counselling</li><li>Emotional intelligence &amp; cultural sensitivity</li><li>Creativity and adaptability</li><li>Documentation &amp; reporting</li><li>Digital literacy (Excel, PPT, Google Suite)</li><li>Use of generative AI tools for training enhancement</li><li>Time management &amp; classroom management skills</li><li>Continuous learning mindset</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;35,000.00 - &#8377;50,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
