Software Development Test Engineer
 Role Overview
 
As a Software Development Test Engineer, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for designing, developing, and delivering embedded software and digital solutions that power our next-generation consumer products. You will work on connected, intelligent devices, combining hardware, software, and cloud integration to deliver seamless user experiences.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
Design, implement, test, and maintain embedded software and applications for smart household appliances.
 
Collaborate with hardware, cloud, mobile, and UX teams to integrate software into products.
 
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices and internal coding standards.
 
Debug and optimize system performance, ensuring reliability and responsiveness in real-world environments.
 
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and design discussions in an agile development environment.
 
Contribute to continuous improvement of software development processes, tools, and systems.
 
Required Qualifications
 
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
 
1-2 years of experience in software development, ideally in an embedded or product environment.
 
Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or Java.
 
Experience with embedded systems, RTOS, and/or firmware development.
 
Familiarity with IoT protocols (MQTT, BLE, Wi-Fi) and cloud connectivity.
 
Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
 
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
 
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
 
Preferred Qualifications
 
Experience working on connected consumer electronics or smart home devices.
 
Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
 
Exposure to mobile app development (iOS/Android) or cross-platform frameworks.
 
Familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, and test automation.

Senior QA Engineer
 About the Role
 
SharkNinja is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our cloud development team and play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our IoT product ecosystem. This position offers a balanced 50/50 mix of manual and automated testing, with a focus on our innovative connected devices including robot vacuums, coffee machines, and grills.
 
You'll be responsible for sprint story testing and regression testing while helping mature and enhance our existing QA processes. This is an opportunity to shape quality standards for cutting-edge consumer IoT products that connect millions of customers to their devices.
 
Key Responsibilities
 Manual Testing (50%)
 
Perform functional testing of software applications, APIs, and IoT device integrations
 
Execute user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate features meet business and customer requirements
 
Conduct exploratory testing to identify edge cases and usability issues
 
Test IoT device hardware and firmware interactions
 
Validate mobile app and cloud platform functionality across different devices and environments
 
Create and maintain detailed test cases and test plans for sprint stories
 
Document and track defects in JIRA with clear reproduction steps and severity classification
 
Participate in sprint ceremonies and collaborate with developers on acceptance criteria
 
Automated Testing (50%)
 
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using TypeScript and Python
 
Build integration tests for APIs, cloud services, and IoT device communication protocols
 
Create regression test suites to ensure existing functionality remains stable across releases
 
Integrate automated tests into AWS CodePipeline for continuous testing
 
Expand test coverage across critical user flows and system integrations
 
Monitor test execution results and triage failures
 
Optimize test execution time and reliability
 
Process Improvement
 
Enhance and mature existing QA processes, standards, and best practices
 
Identify gaps in test coverage and recommend improvements
 
Contribute to building a more robust testing framework
 
Collaborate with the cloud development team to shift quality left in the development lifecycle
 
Required Qualifications
 
3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing roles
 
Strong foundation in both manual and automated testing methodologies
 
Hands-on experience writing automated tests in TypeScript and/or Python
 
Solid understanding of integration testing, especially for APIs and distributed systems
 
Experience testing software applications and REST APIs
 
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated test integration
 
Proficiency with bug tracking and test management tools (JIRA experience preferred)
 
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
 
Ability to work independently and manage testing tasks throughout the sprint cycle
 
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting defects and collaborating with developers
 
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
 
Preferred Qualifications
 
Experience testing IoT devices, hardware, or embedded systems
 
Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS services

The Manager, Brand Marketing for Frozen Treats role will be responsible for driving the global growth of a diverse portfolio of products through breakthrough innovation. In this role, you will develop category innovation pipeline, from concept development to execution and will lead cross functional teams through the commercialization process. The Manager, Brand Marketing will help to drive consistency in voice, tone and message across all channels (i.e., Packaging, Advertising, PR, Social/Content Marketing and Web Properties, collateral, trade etc.). This person will contribute effectively to the development of brand strategy, help shape the marketing plan development, and ensure excellence of execution in market to deliver upon category goals.

Be the category expert: understand price, positioning, competitive landscape and market needs
 
Digest insights, connect the dots, summarize conclusions and recommend a comprehensive product assortment and roadmap that will drive a high rate of sale
 
Develop category/brand positioning strategies, portfolio architecture, product level concepts, breakthrough claims, and pricing strategies with the goal of increasing marketability and maximizing sales
 
Drive a consumer first mentality to develop relevant messaging and assets that deliver clear consumer understanding of products and brand, via partnership with Consumer Insights across global markets
 
Working with the Product Development, Creative Services and Sales team to develop worldwide go-to-market plans
 
Specifically, message development and execution for packaging, digital, in-store, collateral and support for infomercial/advertising and digital efforts
 
Conduct post evaluation and analysis of activities, recommending improvements and evolutions of future brand activity
 
Communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of the products
 
Work with Sales and Trade Marketing to develop breakthrough sell-in stories and in-store merchandising

ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS:
