Shawmut Services is seeking door knockers to participate in voter contact programs in the Queens, NY area. As a canvasser, you will travel door to door in the Queens borough to talk to voters on behalf of mayoral candidate Andrew Cuomo.
<ul><li>Entry-level position, no experience necessary
</li><li>Canvassers earn $26/hr or up to $1040+ per week
</li><li>Extensive paid training provided

Canvassing opportunity expected to last until: NOV 4th
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
<ul><li>Must have the physical stamina to stand/walk for long periods (up to 7 hours per day) while meeting and talking to people
</li><li>Ability to memorize and recite scripts and statements prepared and provided by Shawmut Services
</li><li>Consistently meet daily and weekly conversation goals
</li><li>Understand how to use a cell phone to track and submit data
</li></ul>Compensation
This is an hourly position with an hourly rate of $26 per hour. Canvassers are eligible to work up to 40 hours per week, and must work at least three (3) seven-hour shifts per week.
