Your Role</b></h1>
<p>
Are you ready to take the next step in your career with Shearer's Foods LLC? We are currently looking for a dedicated and skilled (Packaging Machine Operator) PMO to join our dynamic team.</p>
<p>
As a PMO, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of our products. You will conduct product quality tests, collect data, and utilize hand tools to ensure everything runs smoothly. You'll need to be adaptable, as you'll be exposed to allergens, chemicals, extreme equipment, and temperatures. Your ability to multi-task, prioritize, and react to directions from quality assurance and management personnel will be key.</p>
<ul>
<li> Set up and operation of packaging equipment</li>
<li> Run high speed automated equipment</li>
<li> Follow precise recipes and work procedures</li>
<li> Monitor and adjust variables</li>
<li> Perform product quality tests and data collection</li>
<li> Use of hand tools</li>

<ul><li>Leadership:
<ul><li>Set an example for your line by adhering to all policies and procedures.</li>

<li>Must develop an understanding of the Packer (entry level) role and have experience in training others. Ability to be a strong leader that can work independently or within a Team.</li>
</ul></li><li>Troubleshooting Skills: Use your expertise to find root causes and address mechanical and automation equipment issues.</li>
<li>Computer Skills: Basic skills are essential for running production and performing routine verifications throughout the day.</li>
<li>Time Management: Manage your time effectively to perform quality verifications, complete changeovers in allotted time, and plan breaks efficiently around lulls in activity.</li>
<li>Flexibility: Be available for training periods, pre-shift meetings, weekends, and overtime when needed.</li>
<li>Physical Demands: Move, twist, or lift up to 60lbs, and team lift up to 75lbs. Be prepared to stand for 12+ hours and keep up with a fast, repetitious pace. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.</li>
