The Analyst, Film Planning position plays a key role in the support of Shearer's Sourcing and Procurement. The position will be responsible for the management of a key supplier within the procurement organization. The position reports to the Director of Packaging and works cross-functionally between Supply Chain, Commercialization, and Operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in Raw Material Planning, Supplier relationship management, and inventory control. 


Your Seat at the Table:
<ul>
<li>Manage Planning and Orders of film that is under project status including customer product launches and art transitions. This includes inventory and demand reviews and check-ins with Commercial for project timing.</li>
<li>Issue Build order releases</li>
<li>Work with plant Supply Chain on film expedite needs and contact supplier and solve for the need. Proactively and quickly communicate information back to the business</li>
<li>Process project invoices through capital program</li>
<li>Monthly review of Aged Film Inventory and works in conjunction with the Obsolescence team to solve for best outcome</li>
<li>Assists Category Supervisor with Quality issues as needed from supplier</li>
<li>Reviews vendor managed inventory orders for excess builds</li>
</ul>
What you Bring to the Table:
<ul>
<li>A bachelor's degree preferred.</li>
<li>Minimum of 2 years' experience in Purchasing, forecasting and inventory planning</li>
<li>Systems and Process Knowledge
<ul><li>Proficient in MRP/ERP systems</li>
<li>Understands how planning decisions impact the broader supply chain</li>
</ul></li><li>Strong Analytical Skills
<ul><li>Uses forecast data to order, optimize inventory and reduce waste</li>
<li>Comfortable with ERP systems, Excel and data visualization tools</li>
</ul></li><li>Detail-Oriented Mindset &ndash; able to catch discrepancies before they become issues</li>
<li>Excellent Communication &ndash;
<ul><li>Coordinates effectively with procurement, commercial, production, suppliers and logistics</li>
<li>Communicates delays or changes proactively and clearly</li>
</ul></li><li>Proactive Problem Solving
<ul><li>Anticipates supply chain disruptions and develops contingency plans</li>
<li>Quickly adapts to changes in demand or supplier performance</li>
