Job SummaryWe are seeking a Licensed Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Sheefa Pharmacy and Wellness Center! As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be receiving incoming prescriptions, checking for accuracy, and inputting that information into our system. You will also be accepting payments for prescriptions, receiving incoming inventory, and answering customer questions and concerns. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, exceptional customer service skills, and prior experience working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities <ul><li>Receive written and faxed prescriptions from both patients and doctor&rsquo;s offices, verify the information is accurate, and input it into the system as needed</li><li>Maintain proper storage and inventory of all medications in the pharmacy</li><li>Receive incoming inventory, verify the accuracy, log it within the system, and put it away as needed</li><li>Maintain proper pharmacy records, including patient profiles, inventory logs, and more</li><li>Accept payment for prescriptions and small transactions</li><li>Answer phones and handle customer inquiries, referring to the pharmacy as needed</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Excellent customer service and communication skills</li><li>Must have active Technician License in State of NJ</li><li>Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish</li><li>Must have familiarity/experience with BESTRX POS Software</li><li>Minimum of 2 years pharma experience</li><li>Strong organizational skills</li><li>The ability to multitask and shift priorities, as needed</li><li>Familiarity with pharmacy and medical terminology desired</li></ul>Job Type:<ul><li>Full Time</li><li>On-Site</li></ul>Schedule<ul><li>Monday to Friday (Every other Friday)</li><li>Weekends as needed</li><li>Flexible Schedule</li><li>25-29 Hours weekly</li></ul>Pay Rate<ul><li>Hourly</li><li>$16-$19</li><li>Bi-weekly pay period</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Paid Time Off</li><li>Flexible Schedule</li><li>Employee Discount</li><li>On-Site Training</li><li>Free Uniforms</li><li>Free Food &amp; Snacks</li></ul>Location: | 405 Central Ave, East Orange, NJ 07018Compensation: $16.00 - $19.00 per hourWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Free parking</li><li>Opportunities for advancement</li></ul>Work Location: In person
