Are you a passionate litigator ready to fast-track your career? We are seeking a driven Associate Attorney eager to gain immediate, hands on experience. At Shegerian &amp; Associates, you won&rsquo;t be stuck in the back office or buried in document review you&rsquo;ll be in the courtroom, taking depositions, managing your own docket, and trying cases alongside some of the most respected trial lawyers in California. From day one, you&rsquo;ll be trusted with real responsibility, mentored by seasoned attorneys, and given the tools to grow into a top trial lawyer.
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Manage your own docket of employment law cases from inception through trial.</li><li>
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial briefs.</li><li>
Take and defend depositions.</li><li>
Appear in court to argue motions and advocate for clients.</li><li>
Engage with clients and help shape case strategy.</li><li>
Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and negotiations.</li><li>
Assist in trial preparation and serve as second chair where applicable.</li></ul>

Compensation That Rewards Results: Base salary of $135,000&ndash;$165,000 DOE, plus up to 5.5% in performance commissions. Many of our associates out-earn peers at comparable firms.</li><li>

Qualifications:<ul><li>
Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.</li><li>
1&ndash;6 years of litigation experience (employment law preferred).</li><li>
Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.</li><li>
Ability to manage cases independently and meet deadlines.</li><li>
A strong desire to grow as a trial lawyer and litigator.</li><li>
Experience with trial or trial-prep is a significant plus.</li></ul></div>
