Job Summary Job is located in Southwest Houston and it is NOT a remote position. Must have some medical related office experience or finished medical office coursework. Billing companies please DO NOT apply. This is not a summer job and we are not looking for college students.Responsibilities<ul><li>Work with eClinical Works.</li><li>Process medical billing and collections efficiently to ensure timely reimbursement from insurance companies and patients.</li><li>Verify patient's insurance benefits.</li><li>Review and verify patient's records for completeness and accuracy before submitting claims.</li><li>Run monthly reports regarding claims status.</li><li>Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), follow up on unpaid claims, and perform medical collections when necessary.</li><li>Maintain precise medical records by documenting procedures, diagnoses, and billing information with attention to detail.</li><li>Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate coding for procedures and diagnoses in compliance with medical terminology standards.</li><li>Manage incoming calls related to billing inquiries or appointment scheduling, resolving issues efficiently while maintaining professionalism.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>MUST have experience using electronic medical records.</li><li>Experience in medical billing, coding and collections.</li><li>Experience in medical office setting.</li><li>Knowledge of medical office procedures including reception duties, appointment scheduling, and patient communication.</li><li>Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients, insurance representatives and healthcare providers.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hourWork Location: In person
