Essential Functions Include:
<ul>
<li> Aid customers in opening, managing, and optimizing their bank accounts and other products.</li>
<li>Ensure and maintain excellence in front-line coverage to greet and assist walk-in customers and cover the phones.</li>
<li>Work closely with bank partners for client referrals to Merchant, Wye Financial, Commercial Relationship Managers, and Branch Lenders.</li>
<li>Provide loan processing for customers based on loan authority established by Loan Policy; take applications and handle routine inquiries concerning loans, rates, and payment schedules.</li>
<li>Work on Teller line as needed.</li>
<li>Represent the Bank in a manner that maintains and expands positive relations with all customers, potential customers, and co-workers.</li>
<li>Maintains the highest level of confidentiality with all information obtained</li>
<li>Train employees on beneficial customer conversations to help the employee meet the customer's financial needs, i.e. referral training, cross-selling, needs conversations, etc.</li>
<li>Perform customer requests including but not limited to check orders, issuing debit cards, address changes, changing of business signers, fraud disputes, and safe deposit box entry.</li>
<li>Open new consumer and business accounts including CD's, IRA's, and safe deposit boxes.</li>
<li>Provide superior customer service through conversation to identify additional client needs, in-person and over the phone.</li>
<li>Help conduct and attend Branch Team Meetings.</li>
<li>Abide by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace.</li>
<li>Demonstrates compliance awareness by completing all required regulatory and compliance training (e.g., BSA, CRA, ECOA) on or before deadlines, and actively supporting all policies, procedures, and practices that promote risk management, safety, and regulatory adherence.</li>
</ul>
Location: West Ocean City Branch - 12905B Ocean Gateway, Ocean City, MD 21842. This position works between our West Ocean City and 34th Street Ocean City branches.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

<li>Non-exempt.</li>
<li>Days of Work: Monday-Friday, with rotating Saturdays (Closed Sundays and all Federal Holidays)</li>
</ul>
Required Education and Experience:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma/GED equivalent.</li>
<li>A minimum of 3 years' experience in banking with an understanding of consumer lending</li>
<li>Prior experience in bank teller or customer service role</li>
</ul>
Compensation:
<ul>
<li>The pay range for this position is $22.50 to $26.50 hourly.</li>

 (Universal Banker/Bank Teller) to join our team. A Branch Banking Specialist II is a front-line, customer facing teller position responsible for professionally interacting with clients to take care of their financial needs. A Branch Banking Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional customer service including efficient and accurate transaction processing. The Specialist is skilled in customer conversations, asking questions to determine the best solutions to meet the financial needs of our customers.
 
 
 
 Essential Functions Include
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Assists clients with transactions, performing operational duties and processing work while maintaining audit standards, security, and control functions to protect the Bank from loss.
 </li>
 <li>
 Promotes timely and courteous service by ensuring questions are answered, providing friendly and accurate service, making proper referrals as necessary, meeting customer needs and expectations, uphold and meet customer service guidelines
 </li>
 <li>
 Establishes new banking relationships through conversations based on their financial needs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provides account servicing and maintenance to include address changes, ATM card disputes, online banking setup and reset of passwords.

 Recommends bank products and services to customers by having beneficial conversations during daily transactions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Opens new consumer and business accounts including CDs, IRAs, and safe deposit boxes
 </li>
 <li>
 Adheres to compliance with regulations and Branch operational policies and procedures, conducting branch security checks of alarm and video systems, and completing required reports according to established policies, procedures, and regulations accurately and timely.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assists sales platform with daily pre-shift huddles, branch incentive contests and weekly referral goals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Works closely with bank partners for client referrals to Merchant, Wye Financial, Commercial Relationship Managers, Branch Lenders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Represents the Bank in a manner that maintains and expands positive relations with all customers, potential customers, and co-workers.
 </li>
 <li>
