The Contract Manufacturing Quoting Specialist is responsible for managing and executing the quoting process for new contract manufacturing opportunities. This role serves as a key liaison between clients, sales, engineering, and production teams to ensure accurate, timely, and competitive quotes are delivered to potential customers.

Responsibilities</b></div><ul><li>
Receive, review, and analyze requests for quotes (RFQs) from prospective and existing clients.</li><li>
Gather and interpret all necessary technical documentation, drawings, and specifications required for quoting.</li><li>
Collaborate with internal teams&mdash;such as PAG, procurement, production, and quality assurance&mdash;to collect cost estimates for materials, labor, tooling, and overhead.</li><li>
Maintain detailed records of all quoting activities, including cost breakdowns, assumptions, and correspondence.</li></ul><div>

Requirements</b></div><ul><li><b>
</b>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent experience</li><li>
2+ years of experience in contract manufacturing, quoting, pricing or a related field required</li><li>
Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with proficiency in cost modeling and margin analysis.</li><li>
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).</li><li>
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.</li><li>
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>
Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Contract Manufacturing Quoting Specialist

As a Buyer II you will manage program details, the integrity of the programs and the termination of the programs if necessary. This position works closely with sales, customer service, logistics and our corporate inventory management and leadership teams to drive buy side profitability enhancement and sales growth opportunities. Will be working closely with vendors to ensure our purchase orders are processed timely and delivered as expected as well as invoice resolution. Activities will include regional sourcing, supplier selection, strategic supplier management, total cost of ownership evaluation, cost reduction, discount and rebate program development and terms &amp; conditions. Will manage and achieve specific financial goals as they relate to the overall needs of the organization.</div><div>

Responsibilities</b></div><ul><li>
Manage the replenishment of assigned products within a collection of preferred suppliers to maximize performance of inventory following established policies and procedures.</li><li>
Analyze inventory needs and process purchase orders accordingly for general and customer dedicated stock.</li><li>
Interact with selected suppliers; support the cost negotiation and manage the integrity of data and cost.</li><li>
Actively seeks cost savings opportunities to meet team's cost savings goal.</li><li>
Analyzes inventory performance to meet the working capital KPIs for the company.
</li><li>Manage Softco queries to resolve any AP discrepancies.</li><li>
Utilizes systems and reports to manage the overall performance of the inventory.</li><li>
Reviews requests for new items to be added to the product offering and ensures supplier selection is appropriate and profitability metrics are met based on guidelines.</li><li>
Negotiate and implement potential cost changes based on current market trends.</li><li>
Handles moderately complex issues, including the managing of significant supplier issues, inquiries regarding stocking levels and strategy.</li><li>
Possess a solid working knowledge of assigned product lines.</li></ul><div>

Requirements</b></div><ul><li>
Associate&rsquo;s degree in business related field or equivalent work experience.</li><li>
Combination of 3+ years of experience in Distribution, Purchasing and Product management.</li><li>
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding KPI goals.</li><li>
A strong work ethic and a commitment to exceed financial and professional goals.</li><li>
Thorough understanding of supply chain and supplier manufacturing processes.</li><li>
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office solutions including Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint and Smartsheet.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels internally and externally with interpersonal skills.</li></ul><div>
