Job descriptionShred Station are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working and flexible HGV Class 2 Driver to join our growing team at our Harlow depot, for our secure collection role.We require any individual applying for this role to be prepared to undertake physical manual handling tasks, be great at customer services, and pass our security vetting checks.Days are typically Mon - Fri 10hr days. &pound;17.00 ph, plus &pound;200pm bonus.Weekend work is optional not mandatory.You will be required to enter customers premises and collect confidential paper in a safe secure manner by emptying cabinets, swapping bins, collecting sacks of paper and archive boxes.You will be our ambassador for good customer services.We have a good team here at Harlow.Other key traits we look for: &middot; good customer service skills &middot; good communication skills &middot; a friendly and engaging personality &middot; capability to work as part of a team &middot; it will be necessary to be physically fit &middot; the ability to work under pressure &middot; good punctuality &amp; reliability &middot; a high level of problem-solving ability Principal Accountabilities:The driver will be expected to:1. Drive the company&rsquo;s rigid commercial vehicles 12t to 26t in a safe and efficient manner and complete daily checks of the vehicle.2. Keep the company&rsquo;s and our customer&rsquo;s information secure at all times.3. Undergo an in-depth check of their employment and residence history.4. Be prepared to undertake security checks up to UK Government SC level including a DBS check every 3 years.5. Complete PDAs correctly which generate Waste Transfer Notes/Certificates of Destruction appropriately.6. Abide by company policies and procedures.7. Undertake any and all appropriate training programs.8. Ensure timely and effective communication with the Operations Manager and wider Management Team takes place as and when required.9. Be responsible for their own, their colleagues, the customers and the general public&rsquo;s health &amp; safety during the course of their work activities.10. Carry out such other responsibilities and activities as can reasonably be required in accordance with the nature of the post.11. Ensure that services are provided safely and in accordance with the company&rsquo;s Standards, policies, including equality, diversity &amp; inclusion and the company objective of quality assurance.12. Start times may vary from 5 am to 7 am.13 A minimum guarantee of 40 hours a week.14. Bonus up to &pound;2400 a year can be earned through our bonus scheme.15.
