Job Description
The Medical Assistant functions in a role accountable for providing comprehensive, family-centered care to patients and families in the pediatric orthopedic Outpatient Department. Shriners Spokane is looking for a part-time Medical Assistant to join the team.<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div>
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Assists providers, nursing and other health care professionals with procedures and the intake and depart processes.</li><li>
Demonstrates skills necessary to assist with casting, splinting, and dressing application, removal and cleaning.</li><li>
Safely removes casts, cleans patient, covers affected limb and instructs family on skin care.</li><li>
Accurately documents information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)</li><li>
Responsible for prepping clinic to be prepared for that day's clinic to include monitoring supplies and equipment and ordering supplies</li><li>
Utilizes good clinical judgement to identify problems and interventions with patients and families and referral to RN as needed</li></ul>

Job Description
The Executive Assistant provides administrative support to the Chief and Medical Staff. Maintains calendars, makes travel arrangements, coordinates schedules, attends meetings and composes minutes and other correspondence as directed. Assists with special projects, answers questions, directs employees, visitors and patient families and other constituents to appropriate resources. Maintains confidentiality with sensitive business communications. Shriners Spokane is looking for a full-time Executive Assistant to join the team!
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Answers incoming phone call courteously, dispatching calls as appropriate &amp; taking accurate message information. Initiates &amp; maintains filing systems allowing for easy document retrieval.</li><li>
Makes airline, hotel &amp; rental care arrangements for the Chief &amp; Medical Staff office as needed.</li><li>
Coordinates in-house meetings as requested. Maintains a calendar of available meeting space and answers requests for use of such, in-house and out of house. Facilitates meeting set-up and catering as necessary.</li><li>

Provide high-level administrative support to executive leadership at Shriners Hospitals for Children, ensuring efficient operation of the executive office and seamless execution of administrative tasks. 
 
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Schedules activities, special events, travel arrangements and special projects for the Hospital Administrator and assures effective coordination of the activities</li><li>
Assists with the Hospital Administrator's time by researching, routing correspondence, drafting letters and documents, collecting and analyzing information, preparing information for meetings, scheduling and maintaining calendar and meetings</li><li>

Social Worker

<div><div>The Plant Facilities Coordinator is responsible for keeping records for the hospital's preventive maintenance program of equipment and machines, performing other clerical duties such as, but not limited to typing, filing and contacting vendors for cost comparisons. Recording and transcribing minutes for the Plant Facilities, Safety, and other committees. Also, performing clerical tasks for the Safety and Security department, Environmental Services department and relief of Switchboard Operator / Receptionist duties for the hospital. Duties include noting recommended servicing dates, reviewing warranties, filing of contracts and contacting vendors for servicing as directed. Maintains the department Materials Safety Data Sheet handbook and recording and updating of OSHA files. Works under the direct supervision of the Manager of Plant Facilities.</div><div></div><div>
