About the Job Opportunity

We are looking for a legal intern for a minimum period of 1 to 3 months. The work will involve research and drafting pertaining to real estate transactions and cases, and other allied corporate laws. We are open to remote working but preference will be given to physical/in-person work from our head office in Gurgaon.

It will include the following KRA's

Preparation of research notes: The team is confronted with complex legal problems which will require collation of relevant documents, researching positions of laws and drafting notes. Read &amp; update laws/byelaws/rules &amp; regulation applicable on housing (Conversion rules, Building bye laws, Township policy, RERA Rules, Labour cess act, Environmental clearance, CTE, CTO, IBC, SARFAESI etc.)

Briefing senior High Court and Supreme Court counsels: The team is often required to consult/ obtain an opinion from senior/external legal counsels, so the role will involve preparation of briefs/documents/list of dates/case for opinions, for the said counsels.

Key Skills Needed

<ul><li>Should have pursued/pursuing a BA LLB or an equivalent course (whether 5 years or 3 years) from a reputed university.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Good drafting and research skills and an ability to work hard.</li></ul>

<div><div>Role: Legal Associate

Location: Gurgaon (Head Office) 

About the Role
We are looking for a high-energy, high-IQ, optimistic professional with a bias for action who can be an integral part of Legal team 

Job Description

1. Drafting &amp; Documentation
<ul><li>Draft, review and vet various contracts and agreements (including maintenance agreements, vendor contracts, customer documents, undertakings, affidavits, etc.).</li>
<li>Prepare replies, notices, legal letters, and internal notes.</li>
<li>Assist in standardizing and updating contract templates.</li>
</ul>
 
2. Litigation Management
<ul><li>Coordinate with external counsels for all ongoing litigation.</li>
<li>Compile and prepare documentation for court matters, arbitrations, and regulatory filings.</li>
<li>Maintain litigation tracker, hearing updates, and ensure timely follow-ups.</li>
<li>Support in drafting preliminary pleadings, responses, and case briefs.</li>
</ul>
 
3. Inter-Department Coordination
<ul><li>Liaise with business, approvals, finance, CRM, project, and site teams for information required for drafting, litigation, and compliance.</li>
<li>Ensure smooth and timely flow of documents and approvals between departments.</li>
<li>Provide legal clarifications to internal teams where required.</li>
</ul>
 
4. Research &amp; Compliance Support
<ul><li>Conduct legal research on real estate, RERA, land, environmental and other applicable laws.</li>
<li>Assist in updating internal legal guidelines and policies.</li>
<li>Support the site approval team with drafting, application filings, and query responses wherever required.</li></ul> 
5. Documentation &amp; Database Management
<ul>
<li>Maintain organized databases for contracts, approvals, legal opinions, and litigation records.</li>
<li>Track statutory and project-specific approvals and follow-ups.</li>
</ul>
 
Required Skills:
<ul><li>Should have pursued a BA LLB or an equivalent course (whether 5 years or 3 years) from a reputed university.</li>
<li>Should have had prior internship experience, and work experience preferably.</li>
<li>Good drafting, research and communication skills</li>
</ul></div><div>CTC : Up to 8 lacs per annum + performance linked incentives
