<div><div>About the Opportunity:<br>
We are seeking an innovative Senior Director, Head of Marketing to help lead the growth and marketing strategy for the Shutterstock Data Licensing and AI Services Business. This role will focus on creating and implementing a high-impact marketing strategy across data licensing and model training services, with an emphasis on market awareness, lead generation, customer acquisition, and retention across multiple new and existing customer segments. Working closely with the Model Training Leadership team and the broader Shutterstock marketing operations and brand team this role will play a pivotal part in driving growth and ensuring the effective execution of targeted marketing initiatives.</div><div></div><div>
This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs, as well as experience in B2B content and digital solutions. The ideal candidate will be comfortable developing high-impact strategies, identifying market opportunities, and working cross-functionally to bring those strategies to life and possess a deep understanding of the AI model training market, AI and ML technologies, trends, and applications.</div><div></div><div>
The Day to Day:</div><ul><li><div>
Strategic Marketing Development: Define and drive the overarching marketing strategy for the Model Training Business Unit, focusing on demand generation, customer and channel partner growth, and retention across diverse market segments.</div></li><li><div>
Market &amp; Customer Analysis: Identify opportunities for expansion and growth within the market by analyzing industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.</div></li><li><div>
Lead Generation, Partnerships &amp; Growth Initiatives: Develop and prioritize lead generation, nurturing, retention, and channel partnership strategies, working closely with the Revenue Lead to align marketing goals with revenue and bookings objectives.</div></li><li><div>
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with relevant Shutterstock departments and resources to ensure effective execution and alignment of marketing activities with divisional goals.</div></li><li><div>
Campaign Planning &amp; Coordination: Oversee the planning and execution of targeted marketing campaigns that support customer acquisition and engagement goals for the Model Training Business Unit.</div></li><li><div>
Performance &amp; Optimization: Establish metrics and KPIs to evaluate marketing campaign performance and continuously measure and optimize, leveraging insights to continuously improve and adapt strategies to meet evolving business needs.</div></li><li><div>
Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary marketing representative for the Model Training Business Unit, providing regular updates and insights to senior leadership and cross-functional partners on performance, opportunities, and strategic direction.</div></li><li><div>
Thought Leadership: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the business and introduce innovative ideas to support Model Training business growth. This includes, but is not limited to, creating compelling content, strategizing partner and industry events alongside cross-functional Events Planning and Marketing partners, and engaging the Model Training team in speaking opportunities.</div></li></ul><div></div><div>
What You&rsquo;ll Bring to the Role:</div><ul><li><div>
Experience: 7-12 years in B2B marketing with a focus on content, technology, data, AI and/or digital media solutions, including experience in lead generation, establishing and nurturing channel partnerships, customer acquisition, and lifecycle management.</div></li><li><div>
Strategic Vision: Proven experience in developing and executing comprehensive and effective marketing strategies that drive business growth and customer retention.</div></li><li><div>
Analytical Skills: Proficiency in marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM, and marketing automation systems) and a data-driven approach to campaign optimization.</div></li><li><div>
Collaborative Leadership: Exceptional communication and presentation skills with a track record of successful cross-functional collaboration, particularly with revenue, product, and customer advocacy teams.</div></li><li><div>
Market Insight: Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive positioning within the content solutions industry.</div></li><li><div>
Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.</div></li></ul><div></div><div>

Note: Commission-eligible roles are expressed as on-target earnings (base and commission). Non-commission roles are expressed as base salary only but are also eligible for annual incentives.</div><div></div><div>
