Job Description 
To support its growth, Sia is recruiting a Data Scientist Consultant with a strong interest in Risk, Compliance and Regulatory topics and challenges.
Reporting to Sia's Data Science teams, your role is to support our clients' operational teams and compliance departments in defining their data needs, analyzing their data, deploying data science algorithms, and AI agents and providing strategic decision support.

Qualifications 
<ul><li>
Master's degree or Engineering degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.</li><li>
2+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst.</li><li>
Strong programming skills, particularly Python and SQL.</li><li>
Proficiency in at least one major GenAI application framework (LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.).</li><li>
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).</li><li>

Qualifications 
<ul><li>
MSc level education in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Embedded Systems or related field of study.</li><li>
2-4 years of experience in building production-quality ML/Deep Learning pipelines and models.</li><li>
Good understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals and strong knowledge in a specific domain (e.g., Computer Vision, Deep Learning, NLP).</li><li>
Expert coding skills in Python and at least one of these languages: Scala, C++, Java.</li><li>
Hands-on experience with database management languages (e.g., SQL, PostgreSQL).</li><li>
Hands-on experience in cloud-based infrastructures (AWS/GCP/Azure).</li><li>
Hands-on experience with Unix-based command line and DevOps tools (Git, Docker, Kubernetes).</li><li>
Hands-on experience with big data technologies (e.g. Spark, Hadoop, Databricks).</li><li>
You have a strong interest in data and AI-related topics, the ability to quickly build expertise in these areas, and you&rsquo;re excited about helping our clients seize the opportunities they offer.</li><li>
Experience with coaching/mentoring other engineers.</li><li>
Prior experience in Management Consulting is a strong plus.</li><li>
Willingness to travel and work at local and international clients.</li><li>

Responsibilities
As a Data Science Consultant, you will collaborate with our Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Consultants on various client projects in multidisciplinary teams. You will use advanced analytics, machine learning, and GenAI techniques to solve complex business problems and deliver impactful solutions.

Solid knowledge of Machine Learning techniques, optimization methods, and Generative AI.</li></ul><ul><li>
Previous exposure or interest in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.</li><li>
