The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment, excels at multitasking, and is committed to delivering exceptional service.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Maintain and manage an efficient dispatch system to schedule and monitor all shop work.</li><li>Prioritize and coordinate repair jobs, including all comebacks, to ensure timely completion.</li><li>Keep an accurate and up‑to‑date repair log; prepare repair estimates when needed.</li><li>Provide timely, professional communication with service customers and keep them informed of job status.</li><li>Prepare estimates and verify customer credit status as required.</li><li>Schedule routine maintenance for shop vehicles and service equipment.</li><li>Coordinate parts requirements with the parts department; notify customers immediately when special‑order parts arrive.</li><li>Report repetitive parts shortages to the parts and service managers.</li><li>Support a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent coordination and service.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience in a service department, repair shop, dispatching role, or similar environment.</li><li>Strong organizational and multitasking skills.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.</li><li>Proficiency with scheduling systems, workflow tools, or service management software.</li><li>Customer‑service oriented mindset.</li><li>Automotive or mechanical service knowledge.</li><li>Experience preparing repair estimates.</li><li>Familiarity with parts ordering processes.</li></ul>Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hourWork Location: In person
