Job TitleProcurement OfficerJob SummaryThe Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing materials, subcontractors, and services required for contracting, fit-out, and joinery projects. The role ensures timely procurement, cost control, quality compliance, and adherence to project schedules and company policies.Key Responsibilities Procurement &amp; Purchasing<ul><li>Source and procure materials for fit-out, joinery, MEP, and civil works (wood, MDF, veneer, hardware, fittings, finishes, glass, metal, accessories, etc.).</li><li>Prepare and issue RFQs, RFIs, and Purchase Orders (POs).</li><li>Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and payment conditions with suppliers and subcontractors.</li><li>Ensure materials are delivered on time and as per project requirements.</li></ul>Supplier &amp; Subcontractor Management<ul><li>Identify, evaluate, and maintain approved suppliers and subcontractors.</li><li>Conduct price comparisons and technical compliance reviews.</li><li>Maintain strong relationships with local and international vendors.</li></ul>Cost Control &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Ensure procurement aligns with approved budgets and BOQs.</li><li>Monitor material consumption and prevent wastage.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of POs, delivery notes, invoices, and contracts.</li><li>Coordinate with Accounts for invoice verification and payments.</li></ul>Coordination &amp; Project Support<ul><li>Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, QS, and Site Teams.</li><li>Track procurement schedules to support project timelines.</li><li>Resolve supply issues, shortages, or delays proactively.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.</li><li>1&ndash;4years experience in procurement within contracting / fit-out / joinery companies.</li><li>Strong knowledge of construction materials and finishes.</li><li>Experience in UAE market is Mandatory.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Strong negotiation and supplier management skills</li><li>Knowledge of BOQs, drawings, and material specifications</li><li>Excellent communication and coordination skills</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeExperience:<ul><li>Procurement: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Dubai (Preferred)</li></ul>
