<div>About the role:

Sigma is growing rapidly, and our Technical Support Engineering team is scaling alongside it to meet the needs of an expanding global user base. As a Technical Support Engineer at Sigma, you will be part of an award-winning team recognized with the 2024 Stevie Gold Award for Customer Service, helping customers solve technical, business, and data challenges using the Sigma platform. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams to diagnose complex issues, drive solutions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our product and support operations.

What you will be doing: 
<ul>
<li>You will work with Sigma's customers and the pre-sales team to assist with the diagnosis and resolution of complex technical issues.</li>
<li>Working closely with the development team, you will develop best practices and tools for diagnosing issues and optimizing the service for performance.</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional groups - backend, frontend, devops, design, product, and the go-to-market teams to create a first-class experience for users of our product.</li> 
</ul>
Qualifications we are looking for:
<ul>
<li>Industry experience supporting enterprise products for data analytics.</li>
<li>Computer Science fundamentals. Strong domain expertise in databases and business intelligence</li>
<li>SQL proficiency - Very good grasp on JOINs, Partitions, Window Functions, Aggregations, CTEs, Sub-queries etc.</li>
<li>SQL query performance troubleshooting and plan generation understanding</li>
<li>Proficient in data modeling concepts</li>
<li>Ability to properly chart data into logical visualizations</li>
<li>A proven track record of building trust with customers and bringing issues to resolution quickly</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>A strong desire to build scalable processes for issue resolution (documenting common patterns for issue resolution, building tooling for diagnosing issues etc)</li>
<li>Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with multiple departments and co-ordinate issue triaging, diagnosis and resolution</li>
<li>Desire to be a great teammate and have fun at work</li>
</ul>

<li>Supporting a cloud service in production</li>

Sigma is hiring a Growth Marketing Manager to turn social, community, and advocacy into channels that drive inbound. Most companies run these channels as brand awareness and grade them on impressions. We see them as a path to growth, and the person in this role will own that bet.

You'll own Sigma Public as a growth engine and run the social, creator, and advocacy programs that feed it, including a new employee-generated content motion that turns the people who work here into our most credible marketing. This is a new role with wide latitude on strategy and tooling. You'll report into the Sr. Director of Strategic Marketing and work closely with Product Marketing, Product, and the data team.

You'll be measured on growth and content quality: weekly active builders on Sigma Public, the volume and quality of creator and employee content going out each week, the cadence and quality of social content, and the inbound that those channels generate.

What You'll Do</h3>
<h4 class="jobSectionHeader">1. Own Sigma Public as a Growth Channel</h4>
<ul><li>Own the metric: Grow weekly active builders on Sigma Public from the hundreds into the thousands. This is your number.</li>
<li>Own the marketing: Run the launches, campaigns, and content that get people building on Sigma Public and sharing what they make.</li>
<li>Close the loop: Turn builders into sharers and shares into sign-ups, so Sigma Public compounds the way the best freemium products do.</li>
</ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader">2. Run Our Social Media Accounts</h4>
<ul><li>Own the channels: Run Sigma's social presence day to day, starting with LinkedIn and extending to wherever our buyers and builders spend their time.</li>
<li>Drive inbound: Treat social as a pipeline channel, not a billboard. Build the cadence, formats, and hooks that move people from a scroll to a sign-up.</li>
</ul>
Elevate the message: Write and edit social content that builds trust with Sigma's audience. You should be able to edit with technical nuance and marketing taste.
<ul>
<li>Test new platforms: Find the next channel before the category does, run cheap experiments, and double down on whatever earns its keep.</li>
</ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader">3. Build the Advocacy and Creator Program</h4>
<ul><li>Stand it up from scratch: Design the program that turns customers, builders, and community members into advocates who make content about Sigma on their own.</li>
<li>Run the creator motion: Build a roster of creators and influencers shipping a steady stream of content every week, and own the briefs, the relationships, and the results.</li>
<li>Generate UGC at scale: Make it easy and worth it for the community to build, post, and tag, so a lot of the best Sigma content comes from outside the building.</li>
</ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader">4. Launch Employee-Generated Content (EGC)</h4>
<ul><li>Turn employees into creators: Build the program, the tooling, and the incentives that get Sigma employees posting in their own voice.</li>
<li>Make it repeatable: Give people prompts, assets, and a process light enough that posting becomes a habit rather than a favor.</li>
<li>Tie it to reach: Track which content and which creators drive reach and inbound, then feed that back into what we make next.</li>
</ul>
Edit: Edit EGC, UGC, and social content for tone and voice. Bring new ideas and polish to content drafts that take them to the next level.
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Qualifications</h3>

NOTE: Qualifications are preferred, not required. Candidates with strong experience in one area (e.g. a journalist transitioning into tech or a digital marketer looking to expand into social media) will be considered. This role is adaptable to the right candidate. Above all we look for grit, communication, ideas, and the ability to juggle and scale multiple workstreams.
<ul>
<li>Experience: 3&ndash;5 years running social, community, or both for a B2B SaaS, developer, or AI company is ideal. You know what works on B2B social and what dies in the feed.</li>
<li>A real audience: You've grown an audience somewhere and can point to content that drove more than likes, whether that was sign-ups, pipeline, or hires.</li>
<li>Community instinct: You've built or run a creator, advocate, or community program and gotten other people to make content about a product they don't work on.</li>
<li>Data-literate: Comfortable setting a goal, pulling your own numbers in a BI tool or a spreadsheet, and reporting honestly on what's working and what isn't.</li>
<li>AI fluency: You've used AI to make or scale real content, and you can speak honestly about where it helps and where it gets in the way.</li>
<li>Bias to ship: You'd rather post five things this week and learn than plan one perfect campaign for next quarter.</li>
</ul>
Communications skillset: You bring writing and editing skills that up-level content drafts.
