The group brings together three distinct divisions: Icon Sign Company, SignArt, and Echo Etching into one integrated platform.Built on decades of experience across its divisions, Motif Sign Group unites creative vision and technical expertise to deliver impactful signage solutions for a wide range of industries.JOB SUMMARYThe Sign Fabricator is a craftsman responsible for working with various materials to produce quality signs and sign components:RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Assists with metal &amp; plastic:</li><li>Layout of sign components.</li><li>Cutting/shearing/bending metal.</li><li>Forming letter sides &amp; edging.</li><li>Welding, riveting, stitching.</li><li>Structural Steel and aluminum fabrication.</li><li>Assembly of metal cabinets or electrical components (neon, LED, fluorescent, transformers, ballast, sockets, wiring, and sign faces).</li></ul>CANDIDATE PROFILEAs a strong candidate, you will demonstrate many of the following professional and personal qualities, skills, and characteristics:Qualifications:<ul><li>High school diploma/GED required.</li><li>3-5 years of welding experience.</li><li>Must be dependable and have great attention to detail.</li><li>Works well in a team environment.</li><li>Able to follow verbal and written materials and instructions</li><li>Self-starting</li><li>Critical thinking skills</li><li>Prioritization</li></ul>Additional Qualifications:<ul><li>Mechanically inclined</li></ul>COMPENSATION &amp; BENEFITSThis is a full-time position based in Grandville, MI.
