Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented Solar Design Engineer to plan, design, and optimize solar PV systems for residential, commercial, or utility-scale projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in CAD tools, PV system design software, and a solid understanding of regulatory compliance.Key Responsibilities:Site Assessment:<ul><li>Conduct site visits or analyze provided data for structural, electrical, and environmental feasibility.</li><li>Evaluate roof conditions, solar access, and interconnection points.</li></ul>System Design:<ul><li>Develop complete solar PV system layouts, electrical schematics, and SLDs.</li><li>Use tools such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, or SketchUp.</li></ul>Component Selection:<ul><li>Identify suitable PV modules, inverters, mounting structures, batteries (if applicable), and BOS.</li></ul>Performance Analysis:<ul><li>Run shading analysis, yield simulation, and basic ROI calculations.</li><li>Optimize orientation, tilt, and stringing for maximum efficiency.</li></ul>Regulatory Compliance:<ul><li>Ensure all designs follow relevant IEC, IS, NEC, and local utility norms.</li><li>Coordinate for net metering and grid synchronization documents.</li></ul>Project Collaboration:<ul><li>Work closely with project managers, sales, procurement, and site engineers.</li><li>Support during the installation and commissioning phase.</li></ul>Documentation:<ul><li>Prepare and maintain BOQs, technical specs, as-built drawings, and client handover documents.</li></ul>Required Skills:<ul><li>Software: AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, MS Excel, SketchUp</li><li>Knowledge Areas: Solar PV design, electrical systems, net metering, shading analysis</li><li>Regulatory Awareness: MNRE guidelines, DISCOM procedures, safety codes</li><li>Soft Skills: Problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, documentation</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications (Bonus):<ul><li>Certification in Solar Design (NISE, Skill India, or international)</li><li>Experience with rooftop and ground-mount systems</li><li>Experience in proposal and costing support</li></ul>Interested once can send their updated resume at given email address.Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;14,139.87 - &#8377;50,312.85 per monthWork Location: In person
