About the Team:</div><div>
The Bluetooth R&amp;D team at Silicon Labs develops and maintains Bluetooth protocol stack software supporting Bluetooth Classic and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). The team delivers scalable, standards-compliant Bluetooth solutions used across a wide range of applications, including data connectivity, device control, and audio use cases such as Classic Audio, HFP calling, and LE Audio. The team works closely with controller, PHY/RF, systems, validation, and customer-facing teams across multiple global locations to ensure high-quality, interoperable Bluetooth software for Silicon Labs wireless products.</div><div></div><div>
The Role:</div><div>
Silicon Labs is seeking a Software Engineer to work on Bluetooth stack development for both Bluetooth Classic and BLE. This is a hands-on role focused on designing, implementing, and maintaining Bluetooth stack features, with an emphasis on correctness, interoperability, and maintainability. The role also encourages a modern development mindset, including iterative problem solving, effective use of tooling, and openness to AI-assisted development approaches to improve productivity and quality.</div><div></div><div>
Responsibilities:</div><ul><li>
Design, develop, and maintain Bluetooth protocol stack software for Classic and BLE.</li><li>
Implement and enhance Bluetooth features and profiles, including GATT, GAP, L2CAP, SMP, and audio-related profiles.</li><li>
Contribute to Bluetooth stack support for a range of use cases, including data, control, and audio-related profiles such as HFP, Classic Audio, and LE Audio..</li><li>
Debug and resolve interoperability, qualification, and system-level issues.</li><li>
Work closely with controller, systems, and validation teams to ensure end-to-end Bluetooth functionality.</li><li>
Support customer issues through root-cause analysis and fixes.</li><li>
Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team</li></ul><div></div><div>
Skill set:</div><ul><li>
Strong embedded software development experience with C/C++.</li><li>
Solid understanding of Bluetooth Classic and Bluetooth Low Energy fundamentals.</li><li>
Experience working on Bluetooth host stack components and protocols.</li><li>
Familiarity with RTOS-based systems and multi-threaded embedded software.</li><li>
Good understanding of MCU concepts, including interrupts, memory architecture, peripherals.</li><li>
Experience delivering embedded software features across the development lifecycle.</li><li>
Awareness of memory and power considerations in embedded systems.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to think beyond obvious solutions and proactively drive tasks to completion.</li><li>
Familiarity with AI concepts, including basic understanding of AI context, models, and GenAI-based development tools, and how they can be used responsibly to improve productivity or analysis.</li><li>
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team.</li><li>
Exposure to Bluetooth controller concepts is a plus.</li></ul><div></div><div>
Education and Experience:</div><div>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience), with 2 to 5 years of experience in embedded or wireless software development.</div><div></div><div><i>

Requisition Summary</div><div>
Silicon Labs is seeking an Engineer I &ndash; Software QA with 2&ndash;4 years of experience to validate embedded and wireless software solutions. This role focuses on developing the automation framework for Bluetooth Classic and BLE using Embedded C.</div><div><br>
Key Responsibilities</div><ul><li>
Design and develop test frameworks for Bluetooth/BLE Audio Profiles using Embedded C and Python.</li><li>
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, framework architecture, and support NPI activities.</li><li>
Develop automated test frameworks for parsing and validating OTA logs to support Bluetooth and BLE Audio profile validation.</li><li>
Validate Bluetooth Classic and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocol stacks, including GAP, GATT, L2CAP, and associated profiles.</li><li>
Perform protocol-level testing using Bluetooth analyzers such as Ellisys, Frontline, and Teledyne LeCroy.</li><li>
Review and debug firmware to identify and resolve root cause issues at the Host and Controller levels.</li></ul><div>
Minimum Qualifications</div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in computer science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field with 2&ndash;4 years of experience in embedded development domain.</li><li>
Strong experience with Embedded C and Python.</li><li>
Hands-on experience with Linux internals and SPI/SDIO/UART interface.</li><li>
Hands-on experience in Bluetooth and BLE systems.</li><li>
Familiarity with hardware debug tools (JTAG/SWD, logic analyzers).</li><li>
Experience with GitHub and defect tracking tools.</li></ul><div>
Primary Skills</div><ul><li>
Embedded C &ndash; ability to develop test frameworks, analyze code, and debug embedded firmware</li><li>
Python &ndash; strong scripting and automation skills</li><li>
