Job Title: Laravel Developer (Statamic Experience)Company: Silverfern DigitalAbout the Role:We are looking for an experienced Laravel Developer with 5&ndash;6 years of hands-on experience, including working knowledge of Statamic CMS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing scalable web applications while following best coding practices and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Develop, maintain, and optimise web applications using Laravel (PHP).</li><li>Work with Statamic CMS to build and manage content-driven websites and applications.</li><li>Write clean, well-structured, and reusable code following industry best practices.</li><li>Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and agile ceremonies.</li><li>Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand and implement requirements.</li><li>Design and manage databases, including data models and relationships.</li><li>Identify performance bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions.</li><li>Ensure application security, performance, and reliability.</li><li>Maintain documentation related to development and system architecture.</li><li>Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing when required.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>5&ndash;6 years of strong experience in Laravel (PHP) development.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Statamic CMS (mandatory).</li><li>Strong understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful APIs.</li><li>Experience with databases such as MySQL / PostgreSQL.</li><li>Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.</li><li>Familiarity with Git/version control and deployment workflows.</li><li>Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li></ul>Job Type: Contractual / Temporary Contract length: 2 monthsWork Location: Remote
