Job Summary:

The Breast Radiologist is a critical member of SimonMed Imaging&rsquo;s subspecialty radiology team, focused on delivering high-quality diagnostic breast imaging and image-guided procedures. This role exists to support early detection and diagnosis of breast cancer and related conditions while providing an exceptional patient experience. The radiologist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary breast care team and contribute to continuous quality improvement efforts.

Job Duties:
<ul><li>
Interpret screening and diagnostic 2D/3D mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI.</li><li>
Communicate diagnostic findings effectively with referring providers and patients when appropriate.</li><li>
Participate in multidisciplinary conferences, including tumor boards and case reviews.</li><li>
Contribute to protocol development and quality assurance in compliance with ACR and MQSA guidelines.</li><li>
Ensure timely report turnaround and high standards of patient care.</li><li>
Stay current with emerging technologies, AI tools, and best practices in breast imaging.</li></ul>

Education and Experience:
<ul><li>
MD or DO with completion of a radiology residency and fellowship in breast imaging or women&rsquo;s imaging.</li><li>
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR or equivalent).</li><li>
Minimum 2 years of post-training experience preferred; recent fellowship graduates considered.</li><li>
Experience with high-volume outpatient or hybrid imaging settings preferred.</li></ul>

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
<ul><li>
Advanced proficiency in mammography, breast ultrasound, and MRI interpretation.</li><li>
Skilled in performing a range of breast biopsies and localizations.</li><li>
Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and voice recognition systems (experience with Philips and Inteal Rad preferred).</li><li>
Understanding of ACR, BI-RADS, and MQSA compliance standards.</li><li>
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and referring providers.</li><li>
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment.</li><li>
Passion for patient-centered care, innovation, and clinical quality.</li></ul></div>
