We value quality, creativity, and heartfelt service in everything we do, creating a welcoming space for our customers to gather and enjoy.Position OverviewWe are looking for a skilled, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Temporary Part-Time Barista to support our caf&eacute; operations. This role is ideal for individuals seeking flexible part-time work while gaining experience in a specialty coffee environment.Compensation is paid based on the number of days worked.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffee and caf&eacute; beverages to company standards.</li><li>Provide excellent, friendly, and efficient customer service at all times.</li><li>Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our menu, including coffee origins, brewing methods, and food pairings.</li><li>Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment properly and safely.</li><li>Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and customer seating areas.</li><li>Monitor stock levels of coffee, milk, and supplies, and communicate restocking needs.</li><li>Follow all food safety, hygiene, and operational standards.</li><li>Support promotional activities, seasonal menu launches, and caf&eacute; events as needed.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Previous experience as a Barista or in a customer-facing caf&eacute; environment.</li><li>Strong knowledge of coffee preparation methods and caf&eacute; operations.</li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills.</li><li>Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Positive attitude, reliability, and strong teamwork skills.</li><li>Flexible availability to work assigned shifts.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Diploma or hospitality training is an advantage.</li><li>Prior experience in artisan caf&eacute;s or specialty coffee shops is a plus.</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Flexible part-time scheduling.</li><li>Payment based on the number of days worked.</li><li>Ongoing training and development in specialty coffee.</li><li>A supportive, positive, and dynamic work environment.</li><li>Priority consideration for recurring part-time opportunities throughout the year based on performance and business needs.</li></ul>How to ApplyInterested candidates can send their CV to hr@so-bh.com with the subject line:&quot;Temporary Part-Time Barista Application&quot;Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
