About the Role:

Job Summary: Provides transportation and supportive services to Sisters in Long-term Care, Assisted Living, and Independent Living. Duties include transporting Sisters to appointments, shopping, and errands; providing assistance during outings; and performing basic vehicle maintenance. Responsibilities<ul><li>
Safely transport Sisters to appointments, shopping, and errands.</li><li>
Accompany Sisters during appointments and assist with check-in if needed.</li><li>
Complete shopping and pick-up/delivery tasks.</li><li>
Perform basic vehicle checks (fuel, fluids) and report issues.</li><li>
Report any incidents or accidents immediately.</li><li>
Follow all safety procedures and attend required trainings.</li><li>
Communicate respectfully with Sisters, staff, families, and visitors.</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Required Qualifications<ul><li>
High School Diploma or equivalent.</li><li>
Valid California driver&rsquo;s license with no moving violations.</li><li>
Two years of related experience (driving, caregiving, or support services).</li><li>
Flexible availability, including some weekends.</li><li>
Basic computer skills and strong time-management ability.</li><li>
Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism.</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).</li><li>
Experience working with elders.</li><li>
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.</li><li>
Willingness to understand the Sisters of Mercy mission and culture.</li></ul>
Physical Requirements<ul><li>
Lift/push/pull up to 30 lbs.</li><li>
Push wheelchairs up to 180 lbs on level surfaces / 150 lbs on inclines.</li><li>
Assist Sisters with walking or using walkers.</li><li>
Clear vision, hearing, and verbal communication.</li></ul>

We are seeking a dependable and flexible Housekeeper to support a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for the Sisters of Mercy. This role is essential to daily life within the community and directly supports the comfort, dignity, and well-being of those who live and work here.

What You&rsquo;ll Do:
Daily Cleaning &amp; Care<ul><li>
Clean and sanitize resident rooms, offices, hallways, and common areas</li><li>
Dust furniture and fixtures</li><li>
Vacuum carpets and rugs; mop and maintain floors</li><li>
Clean bathrooms including sinks, toilets, showers, and bathtubs</li><li>
Restock housekeeping supplies and maintain inventory</li><li>
Complete periodic deep and annual cleaning as assigned</li></ul>
Safety &amp; Infection Control<ul><li>
Follow all safety and infection-control procedures, including proper use of PPE</li><li>
Report hazards, defective equipment, or environmental concerns promptly</li><li>
Maintain a neat, orderly, and safe environment at all times</li></ul>
Team &amp; Community Support<ul><li>
Communicate respectfully with coworkers, Sisters, visitors, and staff</li><li>
Demonstrate initiative by noticing what needs to be done and taking action</li><li>
Follow all policies, procedures, and community guidelines</li><li>
Assist with other duties as needed</li></ul>
What You Bring:
Required<ul><li>
Minimum of 2 years of professional residential or housekeeping experience</li><li>
Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>
Knowledge of cleaning equipment, supplies, and safe chemical use</li><li>
Reliable, detail-oriented, and service-focused</li><li>
Willingness to assist beyond assigned tasks when needed</li></ul>
Preferred<ul><li>
High school diploma or GED</li><li>
Experience in a healthcare, residential, or religious setting</li><li>
Appreciation for the mission and values of the Sisters of Mercy</li></ul>
