<div></div><div><b>Reports To:</b> Groundskeeping Lead</div>
<div></div><div><b>Basic Function</b>: Responsible for maintaining safe and attractive campus landscape and grounds.</div>
<div></div><div><b>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</b></div>
<div>1. Maintenance and maintain monastery lawn; including but not limited to mow, irrigate, edges, hand trim, fertilize, seed, and weed control.</div>
<div>2. Plants, prunes, waters and maintains campus trees and shrubs.</div>
<div>3. Maintains Cemetery grounds.</div>
<div>4. Completes seasonal tasks (leaf pick up, gutter cleaning, preparing flower beds and garden for planting).</div>
<div></div><div><b>Additional Duties:</b></div>
<div>1. Sweeps sidewalks, steps and colonnade.</div>
<div>2. Clean around trash dumpsites and collect trash around campus.</div>
<div>3. Assists in building maintenance when needed.</div>
<div>4. Perform other duties as assigned.</div>
<div></div><div><b>Education and Experience:</b></div>
<div>Valid driver's license</div>
<div>Basic knowledge in grammar, spelling and simple mathematical functions.</div>
<div>Ability to operate grounds keeping equipment required.</div>
<div></div><div><b>Physical Demands and Working Conditions:</b></div>
<div></div><div><b>Environment
</b></div><ul><li>Outdoor environment subject to changing conditions and temperatures exceeding 90 degrees at times.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Driving a vehicle and operating mobile motorized equipment to conduct work.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Working on ladders at varying heights.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Exposure to chemicals, fumes; noise from vehicle and equipment operation, dust, dirt, oil/grease, gases, and pollen.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Working around machinery with moving parts.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Subject to loud noises.</li></ul>

</b></div><ul><li>Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling object(s) weighing up to 100 pounds.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Repeated bending.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate grounds equipment and tools.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Repetitive use of wrists and/or hands.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ability to maintain balance.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Reaching overhead, horizontally and above the shoulders.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Rapid mental/muscular coordination.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Verbal, auditory, and written capabilities to effectively communicate in an articulate manner.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Accurate depth perception.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Clarity of vision at varying distances to see small details and have color vision/distinguish shades.</li></ul></div><div></div>
