Overview Join our construction team as an Excavation Laborer and be a part of building infrastructure that makes a difference. In this role, you will have the opportunity to operate heavy equipment, assist with excavation projects, and support various construction activities to ensure efficient and safe project completion. Your hands-on skills will help drive our projects forward. This is a great opportunity for individuals eager to develop their construction expertise and work in a fast-paced environment where safety, teamwork, and quality are top priorities.Duties<ul><li>Perform various labor tasks related to erosion control, loading and unloading materials, traffic control, material assembly, and installation.</li><li>Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including moving materials and clearing debris</li><li>Always properly use the appropriate PPE for intended use and application.</li><li>Safely operate various power tools, including electric, pneumatic, hydraulic, gas, and diesel-powered.</li><li>Safely operate various hand tools, including cutting tools, knives, hammers, shovels, rakes, torches, saws, and brooms.</li><li>Safely use ladders &amp; fall protection and restraint systems</li><li>Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance</li><li>Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members</li><li>Familiarity with construction safety standards and practices</li><li>Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and quality</li></ul>Must pass a pre-employment drug testMust have a valid driver's license and reliable transportationWilling to work hard listen and learnJoin us to build something meaningful&mdash;where your skills will grow alongside exciting projects!Pay: From $20.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Will you be able to reliably commute to jobs in various areas including Portland, Vancouver and Salem</li></ul>Work Location: In person
