<div><div>The Supervisor should have extensive knowledge of underground utility construction operations including; equipment used, labor skills, safe digging operations, OSHA requirements, etc. This role will be the direct supervisor of field construction crews; planning, directing, and organizing their day-to-day operations. This role will be overseeing underground fiber and utility installation projects of various sizes and scopes of work.

 Pay Rate: $85,000 to $120,000 per year

Essential Functions:

Roles and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Responsible for coordinating and executing the day-to-day operations of the departments under his/her supervision.</li>
<li>Optimizing and actively managing the work hours of employees and assets of the company</li>
<li>Proactively manages the business and provide feedback to Superintendent of Engineering on critical issues</li>
<li>Responsible for ensuring the safety, quality, training and standards of the company and each individual client are met</li>
<li>Responsible for performing weekly audits on each crew, multiple audits each week</li>
<li>Is expected to have a clear understanding, working knowledge of the financial statements of the department under his/her supervision, identifying and implementing improvements for the profitability of the department</li>
<li>Responsible for inspecting equipment and tools daily for each crew and to ensure the proper walk around is being performed daily</li>
<li>Responsible for the daily completion of all the necessary paperwork required by the company and clients</li>
<li>Integrates the organization&rsquo;s business plan, goals and action items, including cost management/ profitability through day-to-day decisions and communication</li>
<li>Develops leadership, selects and maintains a multi-functional, diversified, well-trained, motivated and empowered workforce. Provide leadership for a workforce of approximately 1 crew lead, 8-12 employees</li>
<li>Administers compliance of fleet policies and procedures. Provides leadership to optimize vehicle utilization and minimize life cycle cost</li>
<li>Responsible for ordering and tracking all materials and supplies needed to perform day-to-day task</li>
<li>Responsible for keeping the yard/material storage areas clear and organized on the daily basis</li>
<li>Participates in industry/professional forums in order to stay abreast of industry direction and new technologies</li>
<li>Delivers continuous Improvement in productivity, safety, quality and cost</li>
<li>Proficient in the successful mentoring, coaching and discipline of department employees for the improvement of performance and preparation of additional responsibilities</li>
<li>Travel 10-25%</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned</li></ul>

Experience and Education:
<ul>
<li>Five (5+) plus years of construction experience is required</li>
<li>Three (3+) plus years of dry utility (gas) industry experience is preferred</li>
<li>One (1+) plus years of management experience is preferred</li>
<li>An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year-to-year basis</li></ul> 


Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications:
<ul>
<li>Possession of a valid State of Residence Driver&rsquo;s License is required.</li>
<li>Candidates must pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.</li></ul>
