 Position Summary
 
 
 
 The HR Generalist is responsible for administering and supporting core human resources functions with a primary focus on Workers&rsquo; Compensation, employee leave programs, and HRIS administration for Sizzling Platter. This role plays a critical part in ensuring regulatory compliance, accurate data management, and a positive employee experience across the organization.
 
 
 The ideal candidate brings strong working knowledge of employment regulations related to workplace injuries and leaves of absence, hands-on experience with HRIS systems, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to partner effectively with employees, managers, and external vendors in a fast-paced, multi-unit environment.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Administer workers&rsquo; compensation claims from initial incident reporting through resolution, including coordination with carriers, TPAs, medical providers, employees, and managers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding workplace injuries, claims processes, and return‑to‑work requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Track and report on workers&rsquo; compensation claims, trends, and costs; support risk mitigation and injury prevention initiatives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Partner with the HR Manager to support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of company safety programs, policies, and training.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with safety training coordination, documentation, incident reporting, and corrective action follow‑up.
 </li>
 <li>
 Administer employee leaves of absence, including FMLA, state and local paid leave programs, ADA accommodations, military leave, and company‑sponsored leaves.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure accurate tracking, documentation, and communication related to leave eligibility, approvals, and return‑to‑work status.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain and audit employee data in the HRIS, including job changes, leave status, workers&rsquo; compensation coding, and compliance records.
 </li>
 <li>
 Run standard and ad hoc HR reports related to workers&rsquo; compensation, safety metrics, leaves, and compliance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Operations, Payroll, Benefits, Legal) to support accurate and compliant HR administration.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support audits, recordkeeping, and ongoing improvements to HR and safety processes and documentation.

 Strong working knowledge of workers&rsquo; compensation, OSHA principles, FMLA, ADA, and multi‑state leave regulations.

 Proficiency with HRIS platforms and strong attention to data accuracy and compliance.

 Qualifications

 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
 </li>
 <li>
 SHRM‑CP or PHR certification preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 1&ndash;3 years of progressive HR experience, with an emphasis on compliance, HR administration, and HR systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including those related to workers&rsquo; compensation and leaves of absence.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.

 Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.

 Proficiency in HRIS platforms (ADP Workforce Now preferred) and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

 JOB OBJECTIVE
 
 
 
 Sizzling Platter is growing! We're looking for a full-time SOC 1 Analyst for our Murray, UT-based IT help desk. If you have strong people skills, IT knowledge, and a desire to learn and grow, you could be the perfect candidate. As a member of the SOC team, you would be primarily responsible for monitoring and triaging alerts to confirm criticality and identify false positives. This is an entry-level position in the SOC with growth potential. A successful candidate will be detail-oriented, have strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and an eagerness to learn and grow in the security field.
 
 
 
 Primary Responsibilities

 Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
 </li>

 Follow SOC playbooks (alert triage, investigation workflows, escalation).
 </li>

 Authentication anomalies
 </li>
 <li>
 Endpoint detections

 </li>

 SaaS / identity-based alerts

 Triage alerts based on severity, impact, and confidence

 Escalate confirmed incidents
