The Senior Superintendent is responsible for field operations on the project(s) assigned and ensures the project/area is constructed in a safe, timely, profitable and ethical manner, in accordance with contract documents, design, budget, and schedule and in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws. He/she directly supervises field craft labor and non-craft field personnel.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
Senior Superintendent</b><b> Required Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><div><ul><li><div><ul><li>
8+ years actively creating a Safety and QA/QC Cultural
</li><li>5+ years in a Top Leadership position for multiple projects</li><li>
15+ years of Building and construction experience (For NYC-Knowledge of the DOB&rsquo;s technical reports and Chapter 33)</li><li>
15+ years experience scheduling and prioritizing activities.</li><li>
10+ years experience identifying and dealing with Risk &amp; Mitigation procedures</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to Mentor and develop talent.
</li><li>Proven experience stepping into a problem project and quickly identifying problem areas or concerns and setting direction for correcting the issue</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree - Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or similar or 8 years equivalent experience plus minimum 10 years prior relevant experience.</li></ul></div></li></ul></div></li></ul><div><b>

Project Engineering Intern positions include Engineering, Field Engineering (mechanical or civil), Cost Engineering, Safety Engineering, Estimating, Finance/Accounting, and Equipment/Maintenance. The Project Engineer Intern assists and supports Project Manager and Superintendent on assigned projects. The position works under direct supervision with mentorship, performs routine daily activities, and gathers and distributes information. During an internship with Skanska, you may have the opportunity to gain experience with coordinating project activities with direct supervision from the Project and/or Operations Manager, performing accounting activities with assistance, performing estimating functions as requested with assistance, and other duties as assigned.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Project Engineering Intern Required Qualifications:</b></div><ul><li><div><ul><li><div><ul><li>
Knowledge of basic phases of construction projects;</li><li>
Knowledge of mathematics functions (geometry, basic algebra);</li><li>
Computer skills (MS Office, HCSS, CGC, etc);</li><li>
Ability to perform all work in a timely, professional, and efficient manner while effectively communicating and interacting with customers, clients, subcontractors, and other third parties;</li><li>
Ability to present information in a clear and understandable manner in both written and verbal form;</li><li>
Working towards a bachelor's in Construction Management, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field or equivalent through experience</li></ul></div></li></ul></div></li></ul><div><b>
Salary Range - Hourly Pay Ranges: $20/hr to $23/hr</b></div><div></div><div><b><br>
