Summary of Position

The Purchasing Manager is responsible for leading all procurement activities for medical, office, and operational supplies and services across Skin and Cancer Institute locations. This role ensures cost-effective purchasing, vendor management, contract negotiation, inventory control, and compliance with company policies and healthcare regulations.

What You&rsquo;ll Do:

Procurement Operations
<ul><li>Manage end-to-end purchasing process for all supplies and services</li>
<li>Review and approve purchase orders</li>
<li>Ensure timely delivery and quality of goods</li>
</ul>
Vendor Management
<ul><li>Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors</li>
<li>Maintain vendor relationships and resolve issues</li>
<li>Conduct regular vendor performance reviews</li>
</ul>
Contract Management
<ul>
<li>Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with contract terms</li>
<li>Maintain contract documentation</li>
</ul>
Inventory Control
<ul><li>Monitor inventory levels and reorder points</li>
<li>Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams for supply needs</li>
<li>Implement inventory management systems</li>
</ul>
Budget &amp; Cost Control
<ul><li>Track purchasing budgets and cost savings</li>
<li>Identify opportunities for cost reduction</li>
<li>Prepare regular spend analysis reports</li>
</ul>
Compliance &amp; Reporting
<ul><li>Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and healthcare regulations</li>
<li>Maintain accurate records for audits</li>
<li>Prepare and present purchasing reports to leadership</li>
</ul>
Team Leadership
<ul><li>Supervise purchasing staff (if applicable)</li>
<li>Provide training and support for purchasing procedures</li>
<li>Foster a culture of continuous improvement</li>
</ul>
What We&rsquo;re Looking For:

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
<ul>
<li>Strong knowledge of networking, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity.Proficiency in EHR systems (ModMed EMA, Envi IOS), Tandem platform, and HIPAA compliance.</li>
<li>Certifications such as CISSP, PMP, CCNA, or Azure/AWS are a plus.</li>
<li>Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Able to develop and lead team.</li>
<li>Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare systems and compliance.</li>
</ul>
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master&rsquo;s preferred).</li>
<li>5+ years of IT experience, with 2+ years in a managerial role.</li>
<li>Experience in healthcare IT and multi-site operations highly preferred.</li>
</ul>
