Employers in Canada are recruiting Medical Radiation Technologists/X-ray technicians through Canada's Provincial nominee program which may leads to Canada's Permanent Residency.Job Description:<ul><li>Operate X-ray, radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, computerized tomography (CT) scanners and mammography units to produce radiographs or anatomic images of the human body for the diagnosis by radiologists of disease or injury</li><li>Record and process patient data</li><li>Perform basic verification and quality control checks on radiographic and film processing equipment</li><li>Provide appropriate care and monitoring of the patient during the radiographic examination</li><li>Explain procedures, position patient and equipment and apply radiation protection measures</li><li>May train and supervise student radiographers or supervise other radiological technologists.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Atleast 4 years of work exp is required</li><li>Must be licensed in the country of current practice</li><li>CAMRT approval letter is an advantage but not an upfront requirement, it will be required at a later stage</li><li>Requirement for English exam scores will depend on the no of years of work experience you already have to satisfy the points of the provincial nominee program</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Have you applied to CAMRT ( Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists) for the pre-assessment process?</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Radiography technologist: 4 years (Preferred)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>Tagalog (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
