 Job Description:
 
 
 
 Maintenance management:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Prepares/prioritizes maintenance activities with regard to malfunctions, maintenance, repairs, and modifications, in such a way that the work can be performed in an efficient and safe manner and the production department(s) encounter minimal nuisance and/or stagnation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in setting, resetting, and adjusting production and packaging equipment of complex products and format transitions, so that production can proceed undisturbed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assesses the nature of the maintenance and study of the drawings and manuals, ensures the availability of necessary materials, parts, and tools, and ensures the planning of the execution with relevant departments
 </li>
 <li>
 Manages all technical maintenance and repair work to be performed by the employees of the maintenance department, plans the work, provides assignments and tasks, and arranges the activities. Instructs on methods and procedures and ensures the necessary safety measures are taken, so that repair and service activities are completed accurately, safely, and on time.
 </li>
 <li>
 Supervises external technicians, providing assignments, checking safeguards, and evaluating of the work performed
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitors the execution in qualitative and quantitative terms, checking the progress and evaluating the results. Resolves difficulties.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 Troubleshooting:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Troubleshoots any mechanical, electrical, and technical control of production equipment, utility equipment, and refrigerating systems, and in offices and warehouses, through received messages, such that the work in terms of technology and safety can be resumed and any stagnation is limited to a minimum.
 </li>
 <li>
 Locates the cause of the disturbance, determines whether mechanics of third parties must be hired, assesses the nature and extent of faults, and determines whether immediate repair is necessary and possible. If needed, ensure immediate (emergency) repairs are executed
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 Preventive / planned maintenance:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Prepares preventive maintenance schedules and carries out inspections in the context of preventive and corrective maintenance/overhaul, so that the technical underperforming conditions are timely identified and corrective actions can be taken
 </li>
 <li>
 Assesses the state of maintenance and reports of serious findings to the production management; directly repairs (impending) defects if possible
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures the planning and execution of corrective maintenance arising from the inspections, at scheduled times
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 Continuous improvement:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Researches, evaluates, and recommends new equipment, tools, and processes in maintenance and production in order to enhance the capabilities of production and/or maintenance.
 </li>

 Monitor the cost and effectiveness of activities to optimise resources, prioritise spending, and achieve timeliness, reliability, and safety standards.
 </li>

Maintenance Manager

<div>
 The Project / Maintenance Engineer performs a range of engineering assignments, usually executed as maintenance continuous improvement or CAPEX projects. He / she engineering techniques to solve problems and makes design recommendations in order to improve the installations and production processes and reduce the total cost of ownership, safety, compliance, environment or quality issues .
 
 
 When executing the projects, the Project / Maintenance Engineer may act as project manager for the project, from the initial budgeting and design phase to execution and delivery of the project to production.
 
 
 The Project Engineer is acting as project manager of capex project from design, business case to execution and completion within specification. He / she is in charge of the planning, budget and deliverable versus the business case endorsed by the business.
 
 
 The Project / Maintenance Engineer works closely with the Maintenance Manager or Technical Manager in order to ensure the technical availability of the assets and installations. The Project / Maintenance Engineer may specialize in a single area (mechanical, construction, transport systems, electrical) or have a broader / generalist role.
 
 
 The level of the Project / Maintenance Engineer will depend on the size of the organisation / site and installations, the scope and size of the project managed as well as the complexity of the production processes / equipment.
 
 
 
 Job Description:

 Technical project management
 </li>

 Develops technical project objectives by drafting maintenance of CAPEX project proposals and plans
 </li>
 <li>
 Determines project specifications in line with operations requirements, and performance standards; completes technical studies and prepares cost estimates

 Evaluates and validates design alternatives to create optimum designs.

 Certifies the technical accuracy of designs.

 Projects
 </li>
 <li>
 Participates as a team member in a broad CAPEX assignments, or leads project teams in maintenance and CAPEX projects
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in assigned installation and/or maintenance projects, within the project management guidelines.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures successful completion of the assigned project phase within the budgeted time and cost constraints.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitoring and auditing
 </li>
 <li>
 Conducts technical audits and ad hoc monitoring of existing installations and relevant equipment in order to support the technical availability of the installation
 </li>
 <li>
 Generates reports regarding project / installation status, progress of maintenance and project work, incidents and update relevant systems as well as technical documents as required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintenance and troubleshooting
 </li>
 <li>
 Defines maintenance and engineering standards, procedures and approaches for the assigned area, in order to enhance the quality and availability of the installation
 </li>
 <li>
 Troubleshoots in case of (recurring) malfunctions, problems or other issues; Suggests solutions to prevent malfunctions from recurring
 </li>
 <li>
 Assists in preparing, planning and scheduling maintenance and project work; Supervises (scheduled and non-scheduled) maintenance work, carry out testing and generate and implement solutions and/or corrective action to installation and maintenance problems. May actively participate in the execution of the work whilst supervising

 May maintain or supervise inventory management of equipment, parts, and supplies to ensure availability of equipment / spare parts for continuous production

 Technical leadership
 </li>

 Provides technical leadership to a group of (permanently of temporarily) assigned engineers and technicians.

 Stays abreast of the latest developments in maintenance and engineering

 Acts as a technical consultant on maintenance and engineering; Contributes to the development of Nutreco technical standards
 </li>
 <li>
 Compliance
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures that all activities are prepared and executed in line with all relevant safety regulations and procedures (work permits, LoTo, etc.), as well as technical standards, regulations, procedures, instructions, guidelines, and promote awareness, including addressing anomalies to others.

 Signals potential hazardous and / or unsafe situations, takes appropriate action is case of imminent unsafe situations
