Job Title: Janitor / Office CleanerDepartment: Administration Reports To: Admin Executive Location: Skylift Marketing, CEMTECH, NUST, H-12 IslamabadPosition Summary:The Janitor is responsible for the overall cleanliness, hygiene, and upkeep of Skylift Marketing&rsquo;s office premises. The role includes daily cleaning, pantry maintenance, waste management, and general support to ensure a neat, safe, and pleasant working environment for all employees and visitors.Detailed Responsibilities: 1. Office Cleaning &amp; Maintenance<ul><li>Sweep, mop, and vacuum all office floors, corridors, and entryways daily.</li><li>Dust and wipe down desks, tables, chairs, workstations, doors, and shelves.</li><li>Clean and polish glass doors, windows, and partitions.</li><li>Remove cobwebs, clean air vents, and ensure no dust accumulation on high surfaces.</li><li>Clean wall spots, switchboards, and skirting where necessary.</li><li>Keep the reception area, meeting rooms, and waiting areas neat and presentable at all times.</li><li>Clean and maintain staircases and lobby areas (if applicable).</li><li>Wipe down and sanitize high-touch areas (door handles, switches, tabletops) regularly.</li></ul>2. Pantry &amp; Kitchen Area<ul><li>Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the office pantry and kitchenette.</li><li>Clean and wipe kitchen counters, shelves, and sinks after use.</li><li>Refill and organize pantry supplies such as tea, coffee, sugar, milk, disposable cups, and tissues.</li><li>Clean refrigerator, microwave, and other pantry appliances weekly.</li><li>Ensure pantry storage remains tidy and properly stocked.</li><li>Assist office boys in restocking refreshments for meetings or guests.</li></ul>3. Washrooms <ul><li>Clean and disinfect washrooms daily.</li><li>Refill and maintain supplies such as tissue rolls, hand soap, and air fresheners.</li><li>Mop and sanitise floors and wash basins.</li><li>Check for leaks, broken fixtures, or low supplies and report promptly to Admin.</li></ul>4. Waste Management<ul><li>Collect and dispose of all office waste, paper, and packaging daily.</li><li>Ensure waste bins are emptied, cleaned, and lined with fresh garbage bags.</li><li>Maintain separation of recyclable and non-recyclable waste where applicable.</li><li>Ensure proper disposal in designated external bins or collection points.</li></ul>5. Equipment &amp; Supplies Maintenance<ul><li>Keep all cleaning tools (mops, brooms, vacuum, etc.) clean and in working order.</li><li>Report any malfunction or damage immediately to the Admin department.</li><li>Maintain stock of cleaning materials and request replenishment in advance.</li><li>Use cleaning chemicals safely and store them in assigned areas.</li></ul>6. Event &amp; General Support<ul><li>Assist in arranging chairs, tables, and d&eacute;cor for meetings or in-office events.</li><li>Help serve refreshments during meetings or gatherings when required.</li><li>Support minor office maintenance tasks (e.g., changing bulbs, lifting/moving furniture).</li><li>Cooperate with the Admin team during deep-cleaning, pest control, or special maintenance days.</li></ul>7. Professional Conduct<ul><li>Maintain discipline, punctuality, and proper uniform during work hours.</li><li>Handle office property carefully and report any damages immediately.</li><li>Respect staff privacy and maintain confidentiality regarding office activities.</li><li>Follow safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards as instructed by Admin.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Minimum 1&ndash;2 years of relevant janitorial or office cleaning experience.</li><li>Familiarity with cleaning tools, materials, and safe handling procedures.</li><li>Reliable, honest, and able to work independently under supervision.</li><li>Physically fit and able to perform cleaning tasks throughout the day.</li><li>Team player with a respectful and cooperative attitude.</li></ul>Working Hours:<ul><li>Full-time (as per office hours) &ndash; 12 hours daily.</li><li>May occasionally assist after hours for events, maintenance, or special cleaning.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Contract Contract length: 3 monthsPay: Rs30,000.00 - Rs35,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
