Job Title: Field Network Engineer &ndash; ISP / TelecomDepartment: Field Operations / Technical Support Job Location: On-site &ndash; Assigned Region Reporting To: Field Operations Lead Employment Type: Full-TimeJob Overview:We are seeking a proactive and technically capable Field Service Engineer to support our ISP (Internet Service Provider) / Telecom field operations. The role focuses on the on-site delivery of technical services, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer support for broadband and network infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Carry out on-site installation of internet services, routers, modems, fiber ONT/ONU devices, and other telecom equipment.</li><li>Diagnose and resolve technical faults in broadband, leased line, or fiber connectivity at customer premises.</li><li>Perform fiber splicing, signal testing, and basic network configuration for enterprise and home users.</li><li>Coordinate with backend NOC (Network Operations Center) to resolve escalated field issues and ensure service uptime.</li><li>Document service calls, installations, fault resolutions, and customer sign-offs daily.</li><li>Conduct preventive maintenance checks and audits of field assets and junction boxes (FDPs, OFC routes).</li><li>Educate end-users on device handling, safety, and simple troubleshooting techniques.</li><li>Adhere to SLA timelines for fault resolution and installation, maintaining customer satisfaction.</li><li>Maintain inventory of field tools, consumables, and ensure proper handling of company assets.</li></ul>Candidate Requirements:<ul><li>Qualification: 10th /+2/ ITI / Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Telecommunications, or related stream.
