The Opportunity</b></div><div></div><div><br>
As a Supply Chain Specialist at Skyways, you will play a critical role in supporting our production operations from sourcing and procurement to inventory management and logistics. You will collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to keep our builds on schedule, our costs under control, and our quality bar high.</div>
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>What You&rsquo;ll Do:</b></h3><ul><li>
Issue and manage RFQs and RFPs, evaluate supplier quotes, and down-select based on cost, quality, delivery, and service.</li><li>
Support RFP projects by preparing cost estimates and negotiating competitive pricing and lead times.</li><li>
Perform QA inspection of outsourced and incoming parts and materials against drawings and specifications.</li><li>
Review incoming product documentation for completeness and accuracy; ensure documentation meets standards and is archived properly.</li><li>
Resolve supplier-related issues including defective goods, delivery delays, and payment discrepancies.</li><li>
Collaborate with contract manufacturers and maintain productive supplier relationships.</li><li>
Organize procurement activities company-wide to optimize sourcing for raw materials, off-the-shelf, and custom components.</li><li>
Work with global shipping providers to align delivery schedules, resolve logistics issues, and perform root-cause analyses.</li><li>
Issue materials to jobs within the ERP system, including pulling, staging, and kitting materials as required.</li><li>
Manage daily inventory counts and transactions, reconciling variances through cycle counts and audits.</li><li>
Enter and maintain PO data within the ERP system, confirming and communicating details with suppliers.</li><li>
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.</li><li>
Perform additional projects and duties as needed to support ongoing business needs.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
What You&rsquo;ll Bring:</b></h3><ul><li>
3+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.</li><li>
Strong understanding of supply chain lifecycle, logistics, and inventory management.</li><li>
Familiarity with import/export regulations and logistics management.</li><li>
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and related supply chain tools.</li><li>
Experience with RFQ/RFP processes and supplier contract management.</li><li>
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.</li><li>
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and bills of materials (BOMs.</li><li>
Proven success driving cost reduction and sourcing efficiency.</li><li>
Sound judgment, integrity, and attention to detail.</li><li>
Experience with project or program budgeting and reporting.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Bonus Points:</b></h3><ul><li>
Experience in aerospace or high-growth hardware startups.</li><li>
