Essential Functions
<ul><li>Assist with project controls, change orders, RFI&rsquo;s, and other construction administration duties.</li>
<li>Prepare look-ahead schedules with information from subcontractors.</li>
<li>Assist in the generation of various reports, such as submittal and RFI logs, and with document control.</li>
<li>Process Submittals and RFIs.</li>
<li>Update working drawings with RFIs and Changes. Keep this set up to date to ensure the team is working with the most current information.</li>
<li>Perform simple calculations.</li>
<li>Provide technical support for the construction effort.</li>
<li>Contact vendors for information.</li>
<li>Comply with company policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Work in a manner to ensure your personal safety and that of fellow employees by following company health and safety guidelines and policies.</li>
</ul>
Basic Qualifications
<ul><li>In progress toward earning a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related degree.</li>
<li>Interest in a career in heavy construction.</li>
<li>Experienced with the complete Microsoft Office Suite, excellent writing and communication skills.</li>
<li>Excellent written and oral communication skills.</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal abilities for working in diverse team environments with staff, clients, and stakeholders.</li>
<li>Experience with/aptitude for construction and/or mechanical processes.</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications
<ul><li>Prior internship experience in the heavy construction industry.</li>
</ul>
Compenstation
<ul><li>Project mobility is offered within a defined home-to-project range.</li>
<li>$23.00 &ndash; $26.00 per hour, depending on prior internship experience in your field.</li>
</ul>
