We are looking for a skilled Support Engineer to work on carbon capture projects at Mumbai Location, including FEED &amp; detailed engineering projects.

Accountabilities:
<ul><li>Coordination and Planning: Coordinate piping support activities, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation</li>
<li>Design and Engineering Support: Provide support to piping design and engineering teams, ensuring accurate and timely completion of projects</li>
<li>Material Management: Coordinate material procurement and issuance for pipe supports sketches on a project</li>
<li>Communication and Collaboration: Liaise with cross-functional teams, including engineering, construction, and site erection</li>
<li>Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records and documentation of piping support activities</li>
<li>Site Support: Provide site support for piping support construction and installation activities</li>
<li>Technical Queries: Respond to technical queries from site personnel and provide guidance on piping support -related issues</li>
<li>Quality Control: Monitor and report on quality control issues related to pipe support standard and execution processes</li>
<li>Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize piping support standard &amp; processes</li>
</ul>
 Knowledge/skills required:
<ul><li>Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical engineering or other related branch of engineering or equivalent.</li>
<li>Minimum 7 years of experience in piping support design.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of piping design principles, industry standards, and best practices.</li>
<li>Excellent communication in English and collaboration skills.</li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.</li>
<li>Self-motivated and proactive
</li><li>Analytical and systematic in your work approach
</li><li>A good problem solver
</li><li>Open and transparent working style</li>
<li>International experience will be an advantage</li>

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Check and review bid documents</li>
<li>Prepare and review Piping Material Specifications</li>
<li>Prepare and review datasheets for valves and special parts</li>
<li>Perform calculations for pipe wall thickness, branch reinforcement, vacuum, specialty line blanks, etc.</li>
<li>Prepare technical supply documents for piping items, including valves</li>
<li>Prepare Piping Material Requisitions</li>
<li>Conduct technical evaluations of vendor offers and prepare technical bid analysis reports for piping valves and special parts</li>
<li>Check and review vendor documents and drawings for piping valves and special parts</li>
<li>Coordinate with clients, vendors, and engineers from other disciplines</li>
<li>Estimate Insulation and Painting Bill of Materials</li>
<li>Prepare Piping MTO and Inch Dia/Inch Metre reports</li>
</ul>
 Knowledge/skills required:
<ul><li>B.E./B.Tech or Diploma degree in Mechanical Engineering, or other related branches of engineering, or equivalent</li>
<li>Minimum of 7 years of experience in a reputed engineering company dealing with the Chemical, Petrochemical, Refinery, or Offshore Oil and Gas Industry</li>
<li>Conversant with international codes and standards such as ASTM, API, ASME, and EN</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of piping design principles, industry standards, and best practices</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with AVEVA ERM will be an added advantage</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills in English and strong collaboration abilities</li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines</li>
<li>Self-motivated and proactive</li>
<li>Analytical and systematic in your work approach</li>
<li>A good problem solver</li>
