The onsite Quality Manager leads the implementation of the site Quality Management Plan, establishes inspection controls, verifies compliance with approved construction documents and manufacturer requirements, directs the field quality team, maintains auditable records needed to support mechanical completion, substantial completion and final completion and leads non-conformance investigations. 
 
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
 Attend job construction meetings</li><li>
Review drawings, submittals, and spec sheets with Quality Team prior to starting new phases of work</li><li>
Update Inspection and Testing Plans based on project requirements</li><li>
Update Quality Inspection templates based on project requirements</li><li>
Follow company-wide safety practices, policies, and training</li><li>
Promote a culture of quality and safety on site</li><li>
Review subcontractor quality plans, personnel, SOPs, and calibrated equipment for compliance with our QMS and provide details on areas of non-conformance</li><li>
Direct inspection coverage for construction activities</li><li>
Review, approve, and submit inspection reports per contract requirements</li><li>
Perform quality inspections as necessary</li><li>
Review, classify, investigate, and track non-conformances</li><li>
Analyze defect trends, NCR aging, repeat findings, and rework drivers to recommend preventative actions</li><li>
Oversee and/or witness torque marks and commissioning tests</li><li>
Identify and control Critical to Quality (CTQ) activities</li><li>
Verify that on-site execution complies with engineering, technical specifications, regulations, and contractual requirements</li><li>
Ensure document control and traceability on site</li><li>
Support the preparation of the final quality project close-out process.</li><li>
Liaison with external parties, including contractors and stakeholders, on matters relating to the organization's QMS</li><li>
Ensures the awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization</li><li>
Coordinates audits, both internal and external, to ascertain compliance with set quality standards</li><li>
Drives continuous improvement initiatives within the project</li><li>
Develops and publishes quality reports</li><li>
Schedules and/or conducts training for quality personnel</li><li>
Tracks training requirements</li><li>
Conducts quality meetings with internal and external shareholders</li></ul>
Requirements<ul><li>
Minimum 5+ years of quality control/inspection management on utility scale solar projects</li><li>
Comfortable climbing ladders up to 12 feet</li><li>
Current valid driver&rsquo;s license required and insurable driving record</li><li>
Strong written and verbal communication skills (phone and email)</li><li>
Must be able to sit, stand, bend, twist and lift up to 50 pounds</li><li>
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the ability to become proficient in Procore, SiteDocs, BlueBeam and additional software as necessary</li><li>
Working knowledge of applicable requirements such as NEC, NESC, IEEE, ASTM, IEC, NFPA, and project-specific quality standards</li><li>
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping</li><li>
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment</li><li>
Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, installation manuals, and diagrams for project execution</li><li>
Clear communicator who maintains a calm, professional demeanor in all situations</li><li>
Strong problem-solving skills</li><li>
Must be 18 years or older</li></ul>
Preferred Certifications<ul><li>
OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification</li><li>
NABCEP PV Installation Professional, PV Commissioning &amp; Maintenance Specialist, or comparable solar credential</li><li>
ISO 9001 internal or lead auditor training</li><li>
NICET, electrical inspection, concrete, thermography, or other relevant discipline certification</li><li>
First Aid/CPR certification</li><li>
NFPA-70e certification</li></ul>
Physical Demands<ul><li>
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.</li><li>
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.</li><li>
Frequent walking on uneven terrain and active construction sites.</li><li>
Climb stairs and ladders when required.</li><li>
Travel throughout the project site.</li><li>

Utility Solar Onsite Quality Manager

<div>Sletten Construction Company is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join their team. This position involves supporting offices in the western United States with the Preconstruction Division from the Las Vegas office.
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Collaborate to create proposals and presentations in the AEC industry based on the Requests for Proposals from clients.</li><li>
Manage quality control process to ensure all proposal requirements and specifications are met and that edits are addressed.</li><li>
Compose proposal content including project descriptions, resumes of key staff, and other information needed to appropriately and concisely respond to evaluation criteria.</li><li>
Use creative tools and software to develop various marketing deliverables such as brochures, event flyers, advertisements, videos, and e-mail newsletters.</li><li>
Manage small, fast-paced marketing projects</li><li>
Maintain efficiency and quality results by using established templates; review marketing drafts for quality and accuracy.</li><li>
Manage and maintain company qualifications and proposal-related content, such as resumes, project descriptions, photos, and licenses.</li></ul>
Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>
Marketing or Graphic Design degree from accredited university or college.</li><li>
2+ years of Experience in InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite</li><li>
Experience in graphic design and layout design</li><li>
Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>
Skilled at multi-tasking with the ability to shift priorities frequently.</li><li>
Self-motivated, with ability to deliver high-quality work in a deadline-driven environment</li><li>
1+ years working in an AEC firm</li></ul>
Samples of work will be required as part of the interview process.
