We are looking for a Manager to help run store operations and daily operations including but not limited too&hellip;prepare and serve food and beverages, including various types of coffee, tea, beer and wine. Job responsibilities include educating customers on our menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items and taking orders. To be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills and a base knowledge of coffee, beer and wine. Experience is required. You should be able to work various shifts, including nights and weekends. Note: this position&rsquo;s compensation includes hourly pay and tips.*Currently hiring at our MEMORIAL location*Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet customers as they enter</li><li>Give customers drink menus and answer their questions regarding ingredients</li><li>Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee, food substitutions, dine in/take out, etc.)</li><li>Prepare beverages following recipes</li><li>Serve beverages and prepared food, like pastries, sandwiches and snacks.</li><li>Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)</li><li>Keep the bar area clean</li><li>Maintain store lobby</li><li>Ability to lift up to 40 pounds</li><li>Work 8 hour standing shifts</li><li>Comply with health and safety regulations</li><li>Ensure proper transportation to and from work</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Previous work experience as a Barista or Server</li><li>Hands-on experience with brewing equipment</li><li>Knowledge of sanitation regulations</li><li>Flexibility to work various shifts</li><li>Ability to gauge customers&rsquo; preferences</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, ContractPay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Paid training</li></ul>Work Location: In person
