Position: Legal ResearcherAge Preference: 22 to 26 yearsGender: Neutral (Male or Female)Minimum Qualification for a Legal Researcher:<ul><li>For a Legal Researcher: Master's Degree in Law (LLM), from a reputed University (preferably from an NLU)</li><li>Must be educated in English medium throughout</li></ul>Salary for Legal Researcher: INR 25,000/- to INR 28,000/- per monthLocation: Candidate should be located in the Chandigarh tri-city area (Chandigarh UT, Mohali, or Panchkula)Profession Competencies, Among Other Things:<ul><li>2-3 years' experience non-litigation, non-contentious firm (preferred)</li><li>Prior experience in Family Law, Company Law, Contract Law, among other areas of law</li><li>Excellent communication skills and command in English language</li><li>Familiarity in legal research databases</li><li>Very good knowledge of MS Office</li><li>Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities</li></ul>Key Deliverables, Among Other Things:<ul><li>Undertaking research in various areas of law, depending upon the work being actively carried out in the office and as required by the Managing Partner</li><li>Drafting of original research reports based upon research done</li><li>Undertaking a basic legal review of documents such as marriage certificates, birth certificates, passports, affidavits, etc. (for which requisite training will be provided)</li><li>Perform other office duties as assigned</li></ul>Employer's Description:SMA Legal is a boutique Legal Advisory Firm that specializes in high profile cases involving Indian corporations, International companies with business interests in India, distinguished individuals and country missions to India.Job Type: Full-Time, PermanentAbility to Commute/Relocate:<ul><li>Chandigarh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)</li></ul>Language Preferred: EnglishWork Location: In-person (Offline)Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: &#8377;25,000.00 - &#8377;28,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
