What We're Looking For:

An experienced HVAC Refrigeration Technician to execute chiller performance testing and tasks related thereto. 

What You'll Do:
<ul><li>Test chillers according to engineering test plans, record the data required, and report on test results.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Troubleshoot chiller performance and operational issues (mechanical, electrical, controls, central plant)</li></ul>
<ul><li>Evacuate chillers according to company standards and troubleshoot leaks.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Refrigerant transfer to and from chillers, record exchanges for inventory control</li></ul>
<ul><li>Execute repairs, modifications, and upgrades according to Engineering specifications</li></ul>
<ul><li>Support 6S and department maintenance efforts</li></ul>
<ul><li>Other duties and responsibilities as required</li></ul> 
What You'll Bring:
<ul><li>Refrigerant handling license: EPA 608, type II</li></ul>
<ul><li>Apprentice refrigeration mechanic license</li></ul>
<ul><li>Journeyman refrigeration mechanic license</li></ul>
<ul><li>Previous brazing experience</li></ul> 
Core Competencies:
<ul><li>Ability to braze copper joints with an open flame torch</li></ul>
<ul><li>An understanding of evacuation and refrigerant transfer equipment and industry best practices</li></ul>
<ul><li>Attention to detail</li></ul>
<ul><li>Mechanical skills</li></ul>
<ul><li>Able to work alone</li></ul>
<ul><li>Working written/verbal communication skills (English)</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ability to multitask and adapt to a highly dynamic environment</li></ul>
<ul><li>Good reasoning skills and sound judgement</li></ul>
