About the role
Position Overview
SmartAdvocate is seeking an experienced AI Product Marketing & Growth Manager to lead the go-to-market strategy and revenue growth for SmartIntelligence. This individual will be responsible for increasing awareness, generating qualified leads, supporting the sales process, and driving adoption of SmartIntelligence among existing SmartAdvocate clients and new prospects. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of B2B SaaS marketing, artificial intelligence, digital marketing, social media, lead generation, marketing analytics, and sales enablement. This is a hands-on role for someone who can translate complex AI capabilities into clear, compelling business value for law firms. The successful candidate will understand how to position and sell an AI-powered SaaS product, develop high-performing campaigns, analyze results, and adjust strategies based on measurable performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall go-to-market strategy for SmartIntelligence.
- Drive pipeline, product adoption, and revenue growth among existing SmartAdvocate clients and new prospects.
- Build a strong understanding of SmartIntelligence’s capabilities, use cases, target audiences, and competitive advantages.
- Translate technical AI functionality into clear, persuasive messaging focused on measurable business outcomes.
- Create targeted campaigns for client upselling, new-client acquisition, product launches, and feature adoption.
- Generate qualified leads through email marketing, paid social media, organic social media, SEM, SEO, webinars, events, content marketing, and other digital channels.
- Develop audience segments and nurture campaigns based on firm size, practice area, product usage, engagement, and stage in the buying process.
- Manage SmartIntelligence’s digital presence across the SmartAdvocate website, social media platforms, email communications, and other marketing channels.
- Plan and manage paid campaigns across LinkedIn, Facebook, Google, and other relevant platforms.
- Create compelling marketing and sales materials, including presentations, product sheets, landing pages, case studies, videos, webinars, email campaigns, blogs, white papers, and competitive comparisons.
- Lead or support SmartIntelligence product presentations, demonstrations, webinars, and prospect conversations.
- Partner with the Sales Department to move qualified opportunities through the sales cycle and support conversion.
- Develop sales enablement resources, including messaging guides, objection-handling materials, competitive battlecards, demonstration scripts, and follow-up campaigns.
- Monitor AI, legal technology, and B2B SaaS trends to identify new marketing opportunities and maintain relevant product positioning.
- Establish and track key performance indicators, including lead volume, cost per lead, marketing-qualified leads, conversion rates, engagement, pipeline contribution, customer acquisition cost, product adoption, and marketing return on investment.
- Analyze campaign performance, website traffic, digital engagement, and sales results to improve future strategies.
- Manage the SmartIntelligence marketing budget and make recommendations based on channel performance and revenue impact.
- Continually research new sources of prospective customer data and recommend opportunities to Sales and Marketing leadership.
- Perform other related duties as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, advertising, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, product marketing, growth marketing, demand generation, or a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience marketing or selling SaaS products to business decision-makers.
- Strong understanding of artificial intelligence and the ability to explain AI technology in clear, practical business terms.
- Advanced knowledge of digital marketing, social media marketing, paid advertising, SEM, SEO, email marketing, content marketing, and lead generation.
- Proven ability to create campaigns that generate qualified leads, sales opportunities, product adoption, and revenue.
- Strong knowledge of marketing analytics, campaign attribution, conversion tracking, audience segmentation, and performance optimization.
- Experience developing product positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategies, and sales enablement materials.
- Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations.
- Excellent writing, communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative, strategic, and comfortable working in a hands-on role.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Product, Creative Services, and executive leadership.
Technology Experience
Experience with the following platforms or similar tools is preferred:
- LinkedIn Campaign Manager
- Meta Ads Manager
- Google Ads and Google Analytics
- Active Campaign or comparable email marketing platforms
- Hootsuite or comparable social media management platforms
- Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
- CRM and marketing automation platforms
Experience using AI tools for marketing, campaign development, content creation, analytics, or sales enablement is strongly preferred.
