Role Overview:Own Visa candidates only The MEP QA/QC Engineer oversees the quality assurance and quality control processes for all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in accordance with project specifications, international standards, and UAE authority requirements. With 5 years of UAE experience, the engineer ensures that all MEP works are executed to the highest quality and meet regulatory and client expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Assurance / Quality Control<ul><li>Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific QA/QC plans, inspection test plans (ITPs), method statements, and checklists.</li><li>Perform inspections for all MEP installations including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, electrical, and ELV systems.</li><li>Verify that materials delivered to site comply with approved material submittals, specifications, and local authority standards.</li><li>Conduct inspections with consultants and document results through IRs (Inspection Requests) and MIRs (Material Inspection Requests).</li><li>Monitor work execution to ensure compliance with project specifications, approved shop drawings, and contract requirements.</li><li>Prepare NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), SORs (Site Observation Reports), and ensure follow-up on corrective and preventive actions.</li><li>Maintain records of all QA/QC documentation (ITPs, test reports, calibration certificates, as-builts, etc.).</li></ul>Testing &amp; Commissioning<ul><li>Coordinate and supervise pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for all MEP systems.</li><li>Verify testing procedures, method statements, and third-party test reports for compliance with project requirements.</li><li>Support final testing, balancing, and commissioning in coordination with consultants and third-party agencies.</li></ul>Documentation &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports including site inspections, test reports, and quality observations.</li><li>Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings, O&amp;M manuals, and close-out documents.</li><li>Ensure all documentation aligns with UAE regulatory guidelines and project handover requirements.</li></ul>Coordination &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Liaise with consultants, project managers, subcontractors, and MEP teams to ensure uniform quality compliance.</li><li>Ensure all works are executed following UAE authority requirements such as DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, DM, DCD, and ADNOC, as applicable.</li><li>Conduct toolbox talks, internal audits, and trainings on quality standards and best practices.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of MEP QA/QC experience in the UAE.</li><li>Strong knowledge of UAE codes and authority regulations.</li><li>Familiar with international standards such as ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, BS, IEC, and ASTM.</li><li>Strong experience in preparing QA/QC documentation (ITPs, NCRs, MS, T&amp;C procedures, etc.).</li><li>Excellent communication, reporting, and coordination skills.</li><li>Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li></ul>Preferred Attributes<ul><li>ISO 9001 training or certification.</li><li>Experience with main contractors or major MEP subcontractors.</li><li>Experience in Construction or data center projects.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeAbility to commute/relocate:<ul><li>Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Site Engineer Construction : 5 years (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>UAE Driving License (Required)</li><li>MOFA/Equivalent Certificate (Required)</li><li>Own Visa with NOC(Required)</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
